Oh thought this was like an elementary school project i've done before...... SPIDER MAN.....he pulls his punches, love that dude (comic book spidey, not toby mcguire spidey)
I grew up a Batman fan. Always loved batman, joker has always been my favorite supervillen, i also got a little into SuperMan a little later on but batman has always been my favorite
Loved Iron Man long before the smash movie. How can you not love a billionaire playboy who builds himself into a superhero? Human heroes with human flaws are the best. Part 3 sucked, and the comic isn't that good anymore either, but he's still up there. See reasons for Iron Man. Anti-heroes kick ***.
Deadman Where the villain Ras Al-Ghul really originated, by the way...although his inclusion in the newest Batman movie was a stroke of genius and brilliant use of character.
The Mighty Thor is my favorite character by far...followed by Venom, Carnage, Wolverine, Gambit, & Deadpool...Was never a big DC guy, occassionally read Image and Darkhorse comics however.
Love the Punisher....Blade....and Batman. Another "hero" I like is this guy: RORSCHACH. Had the watchmen been a movie (it is in the works as I type this)...he would have been a top 5 seed in my BADASS Tourney. http://watchmenmovie.warnerbros.com/
Have you read Spider-Man? That guy's life has been nothing but drama. Toby McGuire's Spider-Man didn't have the love of his life die.
Being from Kansas, and since I attended his Alma Matter, I'll always be a Superman fan. Heck, I'm wearing a "S-Shield" shirt right now. He's the most powerful being on Earth. I really got into collecting during the whole Death of Superman story arc in the early 90s. I like a lot of the other DC Characters too ... Batman, Green Lantern, Flash ... On the Marvel side, there's really only one word you have to hear - SNIKT! - and you know you're dealing with Wolverine. Love the claws, love the healing factor, love his attitude. On the Marvel side, I'm also a pretty big Thor guy (prefer the Ultimate version, actually), as well as Captain America, Iron Man, and the Hulk. Recently got back into comics reading Civil War (bought all the trades, tie-ins, etc.) and World War Hulk ... Preferred Civil War, but the other was fun too.
Always was a big XMan fan, with Wolverine and Gambit being my personal favs. Ofc several of the female chars were quite nice at the time I really was into comics as well Batman was always cool as well. The one I def. never got into was Superman. Just kinda to all-powerful for me I guess.
My absolute favorite is: Old School New School I just love what Finch did with the new Moon Knight. Wished he would have stayed on longer, but I like how Teixeira is going old school with it. The story has been awesome too!
Easy solution, match him up against someone with Magic or mystic based powers. i.e. Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, etc.
Batman, hands down. Wolverine would probably be my next favorite. I watch Smallville and I like some parts of the Superman mythology. But Superman himself is a puss who probably couldn't even beat the Adam West Batman.
I havent read The Watchmen, but I'm really looking forward to the movie. Maybe I'll have to give it a read before the film comes out.
Marvel: DC: What Brian Michael Bendis has done to DD cannot be quantified. Easily the best run for a superhero for a while there. As for GL, that is just a guy that has been with me since I was a kid.
I'd say Batman, Nick Fury, and also the Punisher, but neither are super heroes, and in Frank Castle's case, he's not even a hero. So I'll say Iron Man and Ultimate Captain America.
GL definitely- especially the mid 90's on... Your imagination is your only limitation??? How awesome is that?? Venom, Batman, Wolverine and Phoenix round out my top 5.
I loved Cyclopse, he was hot, then they made the movie and I was like Cyclopse? I don't think so... I also liked Archangel but then they made the movie and I was like ew.... now my fav is Mouseguard:
that comic is so cool... i havent bought any but i really want to. Matty Roth in DMZ is pretty cool too.
