The problem the Fins will face is, assuming things stay as they are and we don't get the #1 overall, is Barkley or Jones worth the #2 overall ?? That could really bite us in the back-side if they take the risk of picking one of those other guys #2 and they bust...

No it's not. The new rookie pay scale will make busts far less financially debilitating. If Barkley sucks we could dump him in 2-3 years without having to eat a huge cap number like the bad old days.

Ahh, I get it now. I was working in a purely hypothetical territory myself as well.

I love me some Anne Hathaway, so RG3 wouldn't be so bad after all......

So what you're saying is he's a shave away from being your fave QB of all time?

Any time someone eludes to a team losing in order to get a higher draft pick they lose all credibility imo.

Players DON'T play to lose to get high draft picks. Disgraceful!

How many of these players playing to lose actually think they would be on the roster next year? ZERO!!! The notion is just ridiculous.

What..how can you say that? Spending our #1 pick on rebuilding the team on Weeden is brilliant. The NFL has been full of 29 year old rookies that make an immediate impact and eventually lead their team to the Super Bowl. Why there was...ah...ah...ah...it will come to me.

Besides, it isn't like Weeden's stats have been padded due to a terrific set of WRs.

I have my reservations about Luck but a pick six in a college game is laying the proverbial egg? Right...

Why are people ignoring Tyler Wilson? I just don't get it. He's the frickin best SEC quarterback right now. He's had a good year for his first year starting and his line sucks balls.

It's not size, arm, or accuracy holding him back, yet there is zero hype and he's 22 it's not like he can't make the jump if he gets Gabbert hype.
