Perhaps you didn't hear the Brandon Marshall has BPD? It is a personality disorder characterized by moodiness and prolonged periods of dysfunctional behavior. That Brandon Marhsall would be having problems with teammates is a much a guarantee as that he will drop TD passes. There is a reason why his wife was NOT charged with a crime when she "stabbed" him with a knife. NO way his wife is not charged unless his behavior is so out of control her life is being threatened. Blaming a coach for a player acting out that has BPD is like blaming the coach for a player who has come down with cancer.
Incidentally it was Marshall ripping Davis for being late to a team meeting after staying out late the night before. Man Marshall is a cancer!
just saw this on NFL.com "Davis' tardiness the root of spat with Dolphins WR Marshall" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...lphins-wr-marshall?module=HP11_headline_stack
Marshall was doing a good thing but the football to the face is no bueno, unless Vontae said something that provoked it. Namely something about a knife, a wife, etc.
Yeah Marshall looks like he gave up..... So Marshall gets on somebody for showing up late to a meeting, after being out of shape the whole year...and you guys are mad why? how?....
I'm glad Marshall told Davis to get his punk *** off his field and respect the team most people on this forum just hate Marshall because hes had some drops but a lot of drops happen to good players due to losers mentality this team has.
SO..let's recap. The haters say that Marshall is not a leader and a cancer. - Marshall calls out a FAT Vontae Davis for showing up late to a practice, HUNGOVER. The haters say that Marshall sucks and Vontae is good, although Marshall has produced twice as much. - Marshall goes out and has another good game vs. KC. The haters say that Marshall "dogs" it and plays with no heart. - Marshall consistently goes out and plays harder than anybody else on the team. His "production" is not there, say the haters. - Marshall is on pace to have: 92 receptions, 1,288 yards and 4 TD's.
The majority of which with a backup qb throwing him the ball. For comparison, how is Reggie Wayne doing these days? (He's on pace for around 75 catches and 950 yards..., when he usually up over 100 catches for 1,250 yards...) Unfortunately, Vontae is validating the negative opinions of him when he was drafted. Lets hope he turns it around. We need him.

Basically, it seems that Marshall acted like a leader and called out a younger team mate who was behaving immaturely. Critics jumped to blame Marshall and defend Davis before the facts were out and they should feel stupid for having done so. But my guess is that those critics will be too busy focusing on just the total TD number to notice they were completely wrong to criticize him for this incident or that despite the drops he's on pace to have a pretty good year.
The latest report on why Davis was not allowed to play says it had nothing to do with the argument between Davis and Marshall. According to a report in the Miami Herald, Davis was out drinking until early Satuday morning. He showed up late for practice on Saturday and was reeking of alcohol. If this is what actually happened, it appears Davis is completely at fault and perhaps the Dolphins need to think seriously about trading him as soon as the trading period opens up, after the season is over. Davis has been out of shape since the season began and the only person who still thinks he is a top tier CB is, Davis himself. When a player shows up for practice and still reeks of alcohol from the night before, it is time for that player to be dealt with. I commend Sparano for taking the action he did and it is obvious that Davis does not have the maturity needed to be a top quality player in the NFL. I think the Dolphins need to get rid of him for whatever they can, as soon as they can.
This is just silly, can you imagine if a stable quaterback was back there..... I am sorry Killa, but the hype would be worth it at that point.......
Hopefully whatever happened gives Vontae the boot up the arse that he needs. He has the ability just doesnt know how to apply himself to get the most out of it (IMO anyway) He started like he was gonna be a pro bowler for years and has dropped back alarmingly , is it because he believes his own hype about his game ?
In a fight between Marshall and Vontae my money's on Marshall, his size, the shape he's in and his anger problem.
