The betting line on Sunday's Phins- Chiefs game has gone from KC being favored by 5.5 points to 5 points, to 4.5 points, to the current line of 4 points. The betting public loves the Dolphins.

We've been competitive so I can understand it, but think this could be one we don't stay close the entire game. Personally I'd be wary of thinking the Phins will cover. Chiefs are at home, hitting their stride, and starting to get the passing game going. Add on a decent defense and our injuries, might get out of hand. I know some are worried about a Chiefs letdown game after that Chargers game on MNF, don't think it happens though.

It clearly makes it easier for the Chiefs to cover!

No, the betting public loves the Chiefs. 70% of the bets are on KC. It's the sharps who are all over Miami big time and cause the line to drop.

They see that Miami is in some of these games and they want to be right if we finally get a win.

I don't see it though. The Chiefs are better than us almost everywhere......

What's interesting is that the Colts also went through a stretch where they were "in" games, losing to Pittsburgh by a field goal, and then Tampa by a touchdown, and dropping a game 24-28 to the Chiefs.

I wonder if the sharps were betting on the Colts like crazy after that. Then whoops, they lose to the Bengals 17-27, then to the Saints 7-62, then to the Titans 10-27, and suddenly everyone thinks they're on their way to 0-16.

It's not just the sharps who are all over Miami. The line opened at -5 which strongly suggests that Vegas knew where the smart money would be coming from and tried (succesfully, it seems) to entice the public into betting on KC.

I think Miami has a decent shot to win this one outright given a pretty good matchup and a potential trap game for KC after an emotional (and lucky) win on Monday night. A line that covers a field goal loss seems like a +ev bet.

Matt Moore is our QB, they should beat us at home...too much pressure on them if they lose this game..Why are you gonna climb back in the race if your gonna show your *** the following week at home..

We should have our full offensive skillset aresenal..Marshall, Thomas, Bush, Bess...

Why can't a reporter ask a direct question to Sparano about Clemons, and when he responds with a BS response, call him out...

I believe we have more talent than KC up and down the roster. Where do you give the Chiefs the nod?

Do you think the Colts have a better team, without Peyton, than what the Phins now have?

Our base O, with Soliai now playing, shuts down the run as well as almost anyone. If VD and Smith can limit Bowe, I give us a very fair shot at the win.

Funny thing, I got the opening line locally at 5.5. Guess the local books were trying to attract action on Miami. They tell me that the little guys, who always put $50 on the Dolphins, are now going the other way. They credit the SFL having it's effect on the heart over head bettors.

Never underestimate this team's ability to implode. Much more tempted to take the Chiefs -4 than the other way around.

    QB
WR- Going based on just the way they're playing, I have to take KC
RB is a wash. Bush and McCluster. DT and Battle have identical yardage totals but Battle has a better AVG and 1 TD.
    O-Line

On D, Their LB's have been more effective
Flowers alone is enough for me to give them CB
Reshad Jones alone is enough for me to give them Safety
We probably win the D-Line battle

what I like about the chiefs personnell is that they have more players on their team, that I had mocked to us in consecutive drafts...
