Tebow is inaccurate in a timing based offense. However, he can be very successful in a more varied offense. All the comments about him being a poor passer, having poor mechanics, etc. were all stated before as the reasons he would not succeed in the SEC. But Urban Meyer was smart enough to put him in the right offense and he was unbelievably successful. When he goes to the hurry up, suddenly he fits the ball into tight widows. People want to say his accuracy is inconsistent, but that's just lazy. The fact is that he's inaccurate in the standard 3 or 5 step drop. However, you give him a soft pocket and suddenly all the passes are on target. You roll him out and he's hitting people in stride. So Tebow may succeed if Fox is smart enough to play to Tebow's strengths, but he'll fail if Fox puts him in a conventional offense.

I think Tebow will get much better over the remainder of the season. Trying to make a conventional dropback passer out of him won't work, but if you give him two reads and a lane to run, I think he'll do just fine.

It is hard to find a QB who can lead a team like he did. Believe us, we know.

No, it did not! Tim Tebow is above all else a winner! Does he fit the mold of an NFL QB? Who the hell knows and Tim Tebow shouldn't care! In my 55+ years of watching this pro game I've seen bad throws and lousy footwork win game after game and at the same time seen the best pocket passer of all time (IMVHO) go to only one SB and lose in his 17 year career!

Your real question should be "Are the 2 John's going to really commit to building a team around what Tim does best?"

BTW if you want to see all heart and bad passes and footwork look up Joe Kapp! One hell of a QB in the mold of a LBer (Tebow) mentality! He also wasn't pretty but he sure as hell could play the game!

P.S. One thing you might want to remind your Head of FB ops, he needs to remember that he too suffered from a lack of the right team around him that caused him to be a loser until late in him career TOO

He'll somehow win you enough games to lose the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

Point blank, and I am a Dawg, I have seen it time and time again from Tebow. I have also seen that Tebow will turn it over and if he gets hit he gets rattled. For 3 and 1/2 quarters he was a ZERO factor. Give him a short field, past their own 45, and he was able to get Denver to the endzone. Give him a long field, as he had for the majority of the game, and he had nothing...not one first down...not one score. He didn't convert a 3rd down until midway through the 4th quarter.

Who won that game for you? It was special teams and defense, not Tebow. The sooner you all recognize this, the easier it will be for you to accept what Tebow can and can't do. Tebow didn't recover the onside kick. Moore had it and somehow fumbled it, and Denver recovered. Moore doesn't fumble...game over. Short field...Tebow gets you a TD. Again....that never happens if the onside kick isn't fumbled. The 2pt conversion, Nolan puts the wrong players and play out there and Tebow walks into the endzone untouched. Again, this isn't the greatness of Tebow....everyone know this was coming...it was wrong personnel and the wrong defense called. I could have ran it in at that point.

Then we get to OT...The Moore fumble once again had nothing to do with Tebow. He did nothing in OT to win the game. Your D did by stripping Moore and Prater did by making the FG.

Tebow was horrible....dreadful....for the majority of the game. His mechanics are some of the worst ever seen, I posted his set up during the game and it was worse than one can imagine. He has the intangibles that you want a leader to have....heart, determination, passion....but he is a flawed, very flawed, player.

Denver would have lost the game by a lot had they played a team who knew how to score points. As others have said, Tebow looking like **** isn't a good thing. He made some great plays to get them tied up at the end of the game, there's no doubt about that. But to be a good team, you need to be able to play well against the **** teams. If the way Tebow played holds up over time, you're screwed.

8/25, 85 yards and a 100 yard pick 6 so far, there's still 11 minutes to go! This guy is a joke. Denver should be going back to Orton already. Those idiots putting up billboards calling for this guy to play should be ashamed.

I have Detroit's Defense today and when I saw 3 minutes left in a quarter I was sad thinking it was the 4th quarter.

Tebow is the gift that keeps on giving. Against us he uses divine intervention to keep us in the Luck sweepstakes, and today when I have the opposing team's defense he helps my team out.

Nice kid, but he just can't play qb on this level. I'd start working on his conversion to h-back. He's a little bit better qb than Ronnie brown.

    Back in Miami
the comeback on us was no surprise at all.
THis team finds ways to lose.

The comeback had more to do with who you are playing and not Tebow IMO.

Tebow will never develop into an NFL caliber passer.
He simply does not have the skills.

His continued ineptness this week is what you'll continue to get.
You guys will have a decent pick come next years draft.
If a good QB is there at your spot I think your team will be seriously considering taking him.

Definitely a Jensen clone. I think Denver would do good to draft a pro-style QB and put Tebow in as HB or TE.

In Short, Tebow has no business under center in the NFL. Just another case like so many good College QBs, good in college but nowhere to put them in the NFL. Time and time again it happens.

The " Tebow Movement ' if you want to put it that way, has been driven by idiotic loyality to him by the national media. Sure he is a good person, apparently and thats why the media is hammering and praying he makes it. Good face time. It ends there folks. Against any halfway decent NFL team, no way in hell Tim Tebow wins the way he won last week in Miami, no way.

The entire free world knew he was going to run for the extra points. Only problem is, Nolan, the idiot he is and always has been, calls in a completely useless formation to stop Tebow.

The kid is going to be benched again eventually so I advise all his rabid followers to pleasure themselves now because soon enough, Tim Tebow is going to disapear. He would make a good TE though. QB ? ER, NO.
