Clyde Gates is questionable as well. Wonder who will return kicks in his place? I thought DT had a shot to play. We are going to get slaughtered. I wish i could get a line on the game. Take the Giants minus the points. Fifteen? No problem.

Eh, a lot depends on Sparano himself, does he give Slaton or Lexxy carries?

Knowing him, probably not, their DNA genome results have not come back yet.

Never seen Thomas get hurt or obviously pull his hammy in a game. The ailments with said muscle just seem to materialize in the weeks between the games. This guy was very durable the last two years. Maybe he keeps trying to rush the healing process, comes back too soon and re-aggravates it over and over.

Sounds about right... not to mention he's a rookie who hasn't had an NFL offseason to be in NFL shape. I think it makes a difference.

So you don't want valid answers to your questions?

Having a full NFL offseason makes a huge difference whether you want to admit it or not. Most players aren't going to do crazy workouts during a lockout because if they get injured then it's their fault AND on their dime.

Conditioning is not the reason why this team sucks... it's coaching. Teams can overcome injuries, look at the Packers last year.

I think rookie running backs in general have a tougher time staying healthy than any other position personally. For instance, look at Ryan Mathews last year with his injury history... hasn't missed a game yet this season.

I would put those two, Long and Pouncey on IR. I would send them to the underground bunker under the practice bubble until March. I might also be tempted to cryogenically freeze Wake. Everyone else is expendable. One thing's for sure, everybody's getting a labotomy...

If this were true than every team would have as many injuries as we have.

Every other team in the league went thru the same offseason. Yet how many groin/injury/cramping issues have they had?

How much do you pay attention to every other team in the league?

I know your blowing smoke Paul... it comes second nature to you.

The NFL as a whole has suffered a lot of injuries this year, especially early.

Hamstring injuries I know of off the top of my head:
    Andre Johnson
    Arian Foster
    Julio Jones
    Daniel Thomas
Three other guys went done with hamstring injuries day

    Other Injuries
    Tony Moeaki
    Eric Berry
    Jamaal Charles
    Kenny Britt
    Mikel Lashoure
    John Beason

According to bleacher report (yea it sucks, but whatever) there were 10 cases of ruptured Achilles Tendons before the season started.
