you know what I find annoying as hell, when a team goes 1 and 15 5 years ago, and at this point and time, they should be the hungriest bunch of crazed dogs we've ever seen right....nothing.... nada.....zero..I don't see the emotion and passion, and haven't seen it, regardless that I feel this market and stadium has something to do with that, they still had a chance to unite?, and they chose to split.

Fauria's game reminds me a bit of Brent Jones, just bigger, and unusually athletic relative to his body..

Safe to say I would have some words for Anthony Fasano if he tried to tell me what a real fan is. It would mostly have to do with defining what a real football player is, and whether going 0-6 and being 1-11 at home the last 12 games fits that definition.

Fasano is a douche. Notre Dame sucks, and so does he.

with his bad performance this year, Fasano should be producing since there's a new coaching staff coming around the corner. As now, it's every man for themselves.

Getting paid $3m for 10 catches and 1 TD thru six games is what is sick... (I stole this line and take no shame in repeating it)

Let's do an interesting long-term project; bookmark this and lets bring it back up when 2014's final opening-day roster is set.

I'll bet that Jake Long is the only one of those left by then.

Yeah it's a tad annoying seeing the SFL concept not being fully understood. SFL is a fan thing, a message board thing, it doesn't involve the players except for the final result. I think one frustrating thing is how Miami seems to be more closely attached to SFL than the other poor teams, as if there aren't Colt fans saying SFL. I understand it though because with Miami we have no decent QB and our starter will no longer be under contract. With Indy you have Peyton of course still hanging around and St. Louis has Bradford who they drafted recently and still have his contract on the books. Miami needs Luck more than the other winless teams so we're going be associated with SFL more than other teams.

I'm tired of hearing Sparano, Dansby, Taylor, and company get upset over someone saying SFL. Hell, just being 2-4 at this point would quell a lot of the SFL talk, they don't have to do something crazy like have a winning record. I want a player to say, well we want 100% fan support but if we had won some games this wouldn't be a topic. We have lost to Colt McCoy and a Browns team that didn't have Peyton Hillis, and we just lost to a QB that looked he didn't belong on a NFL field; give me a break. It doesn't seem the team is playing 100% and with a passion. I was a little jealous of Jacksonville the other night. You have a bad team with a rookie QB, more than likely with a coach that will be fired at season's end, and a team that isn't making the playoffs. They play a superior team in the Ravens and bust their asses all night to get the W, instead of just going through the motions.

Good point, they're just playing sucking because .... they suck!!

I'm an SFLer, but I still root for the team, I just can't root against them. BUT, when they ultimately lose, I feel better about it knowing it may be worth it in the end!

I'm looking at it from their point of view. I think it depends on what caliber player you are.. Fasano is, while deceivingly good at what he does, someone that definitely could be gone with a new coaching staff. With that, there's a chance that the fans rooting for the long term are rooting for something that he wouldn't be a part of.. so I doubt he'd be caring much for them.

Either way, he kind of has to say that fans rooting for us to lose are sick.

Cry some more Fasano. I wouldn't like it either knowing the QB people want to suck for won't put up with a garbage TE like you because he loves throwing to his TE's too much.

I'm not sure how he's expected to react?

"Yeah, I don't mind the fans rooting for us to lose"????

If you're rooting for someone to do poorly, you can't really expect a positive reaction from them.

Guys they just alked about that very thing and both guys said it doesnt make you a bad fan because in order to win the war you sometimes have to lose the battle. the championship is not built through 8-8 and late round picks its built by star players and good draft picks.

I am rooting for his success...its still come up 0-6.....so who doesnt like and it and who has to accept it???

Fasano has to accept he is part of an 0-6 team...just focus on winning. I will celebrate that.

I still say, he can WISH all he wants and when it ends up 1-15 and we have #1 pick....as fans we can be excited to draft Mr. Luck.

OK. That still doesn't mean he is going to support people cheering against him.

You don't need to justify who you cheer for, just like he doesn't need to justify how he feels about people cheering against him.

You can't expect players to understand Suck For Luck. And they shouldnt! Their job is to bust their *** out there. And their concern is this week. For a player to understand or embrace SFL.....they're not doing their job.

But for the rest of us, the fans....we're in it for the long haul. We're prepared to make the sacrifice.

    I want the #1 pick.

Eh Fasano just flipped everyone off and said **** you for wanting me to fail. (Which yes you are hoping for if you're doing suck for luck, I for one am one of those)
I have no problem with that. Tell me how many of you would appreciate someone at your work hoping you fail so they can say, take your job, or give your job to a friend?

Nobody wants Fasano and the team to fail. Me and most everyone else wanted this team to kick *** before the year started. The problem is they've already failed, for the 3rd year in a row. And as a Dolphins fan, I'm going to root for them to fail for the top pick and hope for a better tomorrow, than fail for the 10th pick, and more of the same. I don't see the difference in 0-16 and 8-8. No playoffs is no playoffs. No matter the record, it's equally a fail to me.

understand and understood Muck, but this is on Ross for not having the foresight to know what kind of mess this might wind up in...Its why I wrote the thread that I did the other day bashing the move..This has turned into a promotional nighmare for this franchise, that has turned its own team against management..It all was predicatble if you think in terms of whats best for the image of the team, to do, or not to do, and in this case, its a lesson in what not to do in your stadium..

    Check this..

Safety and defensive captain Yeremiah Bell confirmed the sentiment in an appearances with Joe Rose of WQAM. “I think it was kind of messed up, you know, how he has a day in our stadium,” Bell said. “You know, I don’t think any of us thought that was right.”

This is what happens..things get taken out of context, and then perception becomes reality..you have mutiny on your hands here..

If you're hoping they lose, you're hoping the team fails. Their job is to win. The fact that you've given up on the season doesn't mean you aren't hoping for the team to fail. It is what it is.

The team has already failed, against my wishes, while I was rooting for them to win. You want to root for meaningless wins. Be my guest. But in the end, the results are the same. Without meaningless wins, no playoffs. With meaningless wins, no playoffs. Root for hope or root for more of the same. Your call, I'll stick with hope myself because more of the same obviously ain't cutting it.

Actually, I did. I wished him to have a crappy year. Week one...he went and fumbled against the Falcons and pretty much had a terrible year. I take full credit for it. You are a tool when you are there to take pictures and sign autographs with DOlphins fans, and when there is ONE more person in line (me) and you say you are done and refuse the pic...well, I guess you fumble against the Falcons and look like an incompetant boob.

    1) I am in for suck for luck
    2) You are trying to argue something else. If you are in suck for luck, yes you are hoping the team fails. The fact you've found a reason to justify it, does not change anything.

We are sick... Sick of Field Goals, sick of 16 soon-to-be 17 mediocre/bad starting QBs in 11 years, sick of no playoffs, sick of bad coaching....

I am supporting the team right now though, I'm supporting what they are doing. Keep up the good work, it will get us what we want if you keep scoring less than 17 points and giving up big plays. I'm loving it until January 2nd 2012.

Deep down they must see why we want the hope/possibility of Andrew Luck and a coach like Fisher/Cowher/Gruden.

Ya know, I get Fasano's point... and I do feel kind of bad as a fan since part of me hopes we don't win a game so we can get Andrew Luck. While it'll suck this year, and be embarassing, it's going to set this franchise up for 15 or more successful years down the road. So, technically it is good of me as a fan, to wish for success for my team, even if that means i'll have to suck it up and deal with the loosing this year. You know, I bet in the back of Fasano's mind somewhere, he knows that. he's just out there saying the right things.

I don't see rooting for draft position for a team that has already failed as rooting for the team to fail. Quite the opposite if you ask me. Rooting for Andrew Luck when the season is already over is rooting for the team to succeed, not fail.
