Did everyone see what he did at the goal line today? One of the most puzzling decisions I have ever seen by a running back throwing the football back like he did. Not having a good start to his Eagles career, in fact he has been invisible...until today but for the wrong reason.
Thank God he's not a Dolphin anymore. Could you imagine how embarrassed we'd be if he'd pulled that as a member of the Dolphins?
It's not a wow moment. I watched Ronnie Brown's entire career here in Miami and I can vouch for the fact that he has absolutely no football sense in his head.
I love Ronnie but this scene was priceless And he immediatley asked Reid to challange the play. Funny as hell
If I am correct he has not carried the ball since this fumble, three games ago. Hell, I am not even sure he has been active the last two games.
Second overall pick. Meantime, Ricky just took it into the end zone and is averaging 4.7 yards a carry for the Ravens. Great move, getting rid of Ricky because he says what he thinks. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=25.743897,-80.225473
You don't think it had anything to do with the fact that he looked done here? I think he was gone prior to those comments.
Ricky would not be doing anything here. Our line is pretty bad, and last season Ricky literally went down on any hint of contact.
Yea becuase who wants a back up RB that averages over 4.0 a carrie, also ran over 600 yds as a back up .....he must be done
that didnt take long... Ronnie Brown’s stay with the Dream Team didn’t last long. Brown, the running back who signed a one-year contract with the Eagles in August, has been traded to the Lions for running back Jerome Harrison and a 2013 seventh-round draft pick, according to multiple reports. Although Brown has played all six games for the Eagles this year, he hasn’t done much: He has just 38 yards on 13 carries, and his most notable play was a bizarre fumble that cost the Eagles dearly in their loss to the 49ers.
Wow, Ronnie actually got traded to a better team. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up with the Packers next.
2.9 yards per carry this season and 3.7 yards per carry last season...He has sucked lately His tds have gone from 10-8-5-0 see the progression As for the 600 yards as a backup didn't he have 200 carries versus 159 for Ricky last season?? Since when does the backup have more carries than the starter??
Another in a long list of former Dolphins that were vastly over-rated by this fanbase. We can now add him to the Chris Chambers Wall of Fame.
Ronnie Brown has to be the luckiest underachiever of all time. Gets picked second overall and gets a huge contract despite never starting in college; benefits hugely from the brief re-emergence of the single-wing formation in the NFL; now ends up with an up-and-coming team with a good QB.
Remember when everyone was terrified Brown would end up with New England and actually become a great player?
The ironic part is that Edds is now a Colt with Pat Angerer, who is probably just as bad in coverage, but miraculously is regarded as a great coverage LB.
Concerning Angerer, not Edds... Who has said he's a great coverage LB? I've never even heard such a claim from anyone, including his days at Iowa.
It was mostly people here, who would reference Angerer when talking about Edds. But there were also people who thought he could cover as a MLB at an NFL level... Considering that he was drafted by the Colts, they had to have thought he was going to be good in coverage.
Not sure were your looking nfl.com says 4.7 ,also he got more carries as Ronnie or starter was not doing a darn thing and you blame him for that ? Look were ronnie is now he is getting shopped and thrown around like a cheap prostitute .I really like the guy but to blame ricky for getting more carries is just dum and you clearly know he was our backup.
