I don't know. I thought I had read they thought this was possible already?? The way most articles seem to be written like the physics world had no idea, but I don't think thats true.
I think the science community was split on it. It seems there's some actual proof to point in that direction now.
Right that was my original assumption till I started reading. Probably just the media not knowing wtf they are talking about.
No, no, no. The science is settled. 87% of the scientists agree that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light - so it must be true. Everybody else is anti-science and and in denial.
