Yes, because the track record for UDFA rookies, especially rookie QBs, in the NFL has established that this is clearly a winning strategy. Devlin will get killed behind this line. You may as well hang a blinking sign out on the front of the stadium that says "for hire."

If Devlin sees the field there will be a locker room mutiny the likes of which we have not seen since...2007. Damn it's been a rough stretch :pity:.

Henne might be done for the season... the stars are aligning for us Dolfans! There is light at the end of this tunnel and that light spells Luck!

I haven't watched the tape since I was at the game, and it was blacked out locally so I couldn't record it. Was Moore that bad? On that one drive that stalled I saw him make a few good throws. Marshall dropped that biggie, but maybe that was due to shadow. But that was a great throw. Then in the end zone to Marshall I thought Moore maybe should have thrown it higher because I believe it was batted away. Two throws to Bess where Bess doesn't get his head around. I don't think I blame either one, I think it was more due to timing. Bess probably expects the ball a little later from Henne.

Again, I can't rewatch anything because they didn't show the game here. How bad exactly was he?

Devlin will probably be our best QB since Pennington if we give him a fair chance. Even if we get the first pick we will probably not draft Luck anyway; but probably someone safe like an offensive lineman or receiver...then possibly try for a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

If we are in position to draft Luck, and don't, I think I'll have to find another team to cheer for, seriously. (well partially serious anyway)

Because Moore is our backup quarterback and mathematically, we're not eliminated from the post season yet. Kid comes in off the bench when Henne gets hurt, hurls a 40 yard pass, everyone on the boards here ejaculates all over their keyboards, then the Suck for Luck crowd starts to panic that Moore could cause them to lose the race for the boy they have a hard on for because Moore could very well be THAT good, but instead of being interested in seeing if Moore is indeed that good...if he could indeed get us to the post season, you'd rather us suck big homo balls just so we can draft a potential Ryan Leaf, Jeff George or...John Elway.

John Elway??? But he won!! He's a two time Super Bowl Champion!!! Uh huh....that's right he is...but ask the Baltimore Colts how it felt to have John Elway threaten to play professional baseball if he was drafted by the Colts. Indy ended up trading that draft pick to Denver.

I'd laugh my A$$ off if Luck did the same thing!! And it could happen too. Luck is that coveted in the NFL that HE...not the Dolphins could dictate who he plays for.

Then maybe the kids will be quiet enough for the grown ups to actually try and fix the TEAM.

Moore is not good IMO but Devlin is no good either. He can be worse. But with the guys they are looking at (Delhomme seriously?), they might as well throw in the towel and move up Devlin to the roster behind Moore.

Does it hurt to look at someone? I don't see why it's such a big deal personally.

In fact, with Daboll's familiarity with Delhomme and the fact that Garrard probably wants a deal with many dollar signs... I wouldn't be surprised if they sign him when the dust settles.

However for now.. they're just looking at him. Just like they looked at Tiki Barber earlier.

It doesn't hurt, but he's not exactly a good option.

Unfortunately there aren't many (if any) good options for starting caliber quarterbacks without a home. Take what you can get, I guess.
