You may be right. But its the "Worst Dolphins of All Time" list. Not the "Guys who played pretty well but had no heart" list.

Martin is not on the first list...

That's fine. Your opinion differs from mine. IMO, he wasn't with a flip his second go round. I believe he is the guy Dan Marino referred to as "7 Up" his first time in Miami - "Never had it, never will".

I remember him as a kid that had to learn the position due to some bad choices in college. I think he played QB, and lost a year of eligibility. When he started to he was traded. I think he lost out in a numbers game when Wyane tried to buy a superbowl when he first took over. Remember the team that had all those first rounders, only to have Dan blow out his Achilles? Who was tossing him the ball in SD, Stan Humphries? Yet he played great there. If he was on the Dolphins when the light turned on, IMO he makes more than one pro bowl in that time period.

Also, He had 1000 yards his first year on his second go around with us. That is worth a flip IMO. He also had Dan testify on his behalf as a character witness when he had some heavy charges against him. If Dan said that I'm sure his opinion changed as he learned the position.

Regardless, to put him as the worst WR in Dolphin history is silly.

QBs - (In order, starting with the WORST) Culpepper, Beck, Feely, Lucas

Random positions - (not in order) Reggie Howard, Eddie Moore, Mauia, Crowder, Roth, Darrius Thompson.....plenty more who were worse than a few of these guys Im sure.

I find it hard to fathom how Culpepper and a quarterback who has only played one year can grace the list but not Joey Harrington and Trent Green.

It's Funny, beforew I even opened the thread I said Ray Lucas....

If you look at the list that started the thread there are 10 TEN!!! Players that have started and even played well to very well for other teams..

Let's go deeper... Perhaps it has been the suspect coaching, training, on going preperation and teaching that has been lacking.

Hopefully now that is all behind us.:hi5:

I dont agree with Pep being on that list. I dont think he was really given a fair shot, but it is what it is.

I don't agree with it either. Culpepper was injured. What was Joey Harrington's and Trent Green's excuse. I mean, nothing against those two quarterbacks, but damn....

It depends on what you consider to be a bad player. Are we talking bad pick, or someone who is injured or what.

John Bosa was a DE who would have been a great player for us
    if it weren't for injuries
Do you see a pattern already?

Can't believe we made it this far and nobody brought up #38 Calvin Jackson...

I think a prerequisite for the list should be that they started at least one game (strike games do not count, sorry Kyle Mackey.

Any "worst Dolphins of all time" list that does not include Paul Lankford and William Judson is not a list at all.

Has to be considered the worst starting corner tandem in National Football League history. they were so God awful/terrible it's astounding. I hold those two most accountable for Danny not having a ring.

A lot of scrubs on that list.

That said, John Bosa would have been a great player for us. He got injured and injuries, IMO, are not "bust worthy".

Randall Hill got us Troy Vincent so I won't bash him too much.

Robert Jones was actually pretty productive for us for a short time. He was playing out of position (outside) and was cheap.

Bud Brown is the worst safety that I've ever seen play for this franchise.

Like I said above, Lankford and Judson are the corners, have to be. Throw Ben Kelly at nickel and you really have something.

Aubrey Beavers and Jackie Shipp were TERRIBLE linebackers.

Remember Eddie Blake? He's gotta be the starting defensive tackle. One of the worst draft picks in franchise history.....

...but the WORST draft pick in franchise history has to be, IMO, Andrew Greene. 2nd round pick and I don't even remember him making the damn team.
