Neither of them will sign without guaranteed contracts and the prospect of only playing a few games (or however long Henne is out) IMO. This looks like it's all for show.

Please no Garrard. He might actually win a game. Delhomme? I'm strangely comfortable with signing that interception machine.

If Stephen Ross scuttled the Orton deal over money, he isn't going to guarantee $2-3 million for one of these bums.

I'm starting to think ross is a Suck for Lucker

Garrard can get us 5 wins. Who wants that??? Please don't sign him....maybe the Seahawks will! I'm really surprised he hasn't been signed yet. Seattle actually has a chance to win that division. 8-8 could do it. Garrard could get them there....

Garrard would be a good fit there. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't look at him in the coming weeks.

Hopefully Luck doesn't turn them down as well...

Just to play with the idea CK, say the #2 QB ends up Griffin III and he's around the 4-5th pick. How much could you get for Andrew Luck? He's only going to be owed 24m guaranteed.

Miami drafts Luck as number 1 pick.

Luck refuses to play for Miami and is traded to New York for Mark Sanchez and 3rd round pick in 2013.

Although let's be honest, Pat Devlin = even more chances of Andrew Luck. Unless they're thinking of signing Delhomme and starting him immediately over Moore, a la Kerry Collins.

Either way is fantastic. We are really doing this. This is more fun than the last two seasons combined.

Eh, I liked Garrard, but knowing this front office, they are on the phone to Ratliff.

Fun? No. I'll gladly take Andrew Luck over seven meaningless wins, but this season has been decidedly un-fun so far.

So far, yes, but it's getting fun. Or at least interesting. Maybe that's the more appropriate term

Holy Crap, the conspiracy comes around full swing! (not directed at you Schmoo)
Ross ordered Ireland to set us up exactly like Carolina last season (Moore + Delhomme) to insure picking #1.
    Ross is a friggin visionary.
    Eat that crow you Ross-hating-*****es!

J/K. still venting the end of our season

We ain't there yet, let's see what Moore can do, if that fails Daboll used Hillis effectively when all else failed in Cleveland.

I would not wish 1-15 or 0-16 on anyone outside of patriots fans.

Don't think so the 49ers got that locked and 8-8 won't be good enough for the wild card.

    Per rotoworld:

The Dolphins worked out free agent QBs Trent Edwards and Brodie Croyle on Tuesday.
The Fins are also in discussions with David Garrard and Jake Delhomme, as they seek insurance for Chad Henne's shoulder injury. If Henne's injury isn't season-ending, Garrard and Delhomme won't be options. Edwards and Croyle would be candidates to work in a backup role for a few weeks under that scenario.

How far have we fallen when two out-of-work quarterbacks are making financial demands as a condition of playing here?

A Qb with options does not want to be a 3 game rental.

And people were mad at how Henne checked down on every play ...

Hmm, speaking of former Bills QBs, what about J.P. Losman?

Also, I hear that Marino is back at his playing weight. Should we give him a shot?

Giants just waived Sage Rosenfels, if you need a emergency/#3 Qb I'd say he is the best available for what they are looking for imo.
