I can feel their pain but do not feel sorry today... http://www.baltimoresun2.com/talk/showthread.php?t=127880
we are in much worse shape than the ravens. along with IND and NE, BAL is the best at drafting talent in the NFL when was the last time we had a draft that you could honestly say was worthy of an A-grade??? we seem to just keep getting worse and worse talent wise. and that is fine, IF you have the ability to draft well. i still haven't seen anything to give me any confidence in this team's drafting.
worse shape? u kidding me? They have Salary cap issues, we have plenty of room. They STILL have no idea who there QB will be . . . yea they have a name brand D, but those guys need to get paid . . . they cant keep them forever . . . we IMO are in MUCH better shape than Bmore, especially with a solid draft this year and a clear cut winner of the QB spot.
And they signed a coach who went for the tie against a winless team. Possibly one of the dumbest coaching moves ever!
conservative strategy - wouldnt have looked bad if stover would have made that FG that he usually makes. Can't say i fault Billick for not going for the TD..... what if there had been a bad snap, a goalline stand, or some other circumstance? Then he'd look REALLY bad.
The only question I have is why isn't Troy Smith starting? He's shown more promise then most rookie quarterbacks this season. However, I could give a rats *** about the Ravens. Billick whines to much and is an awful coach. Just glad we beat them today.
Troy Smith looked better than i thought he'd be.... he moved that offense pretty well. I'd be surprised if he doesn't genuinely push the other QB's for their roster position next year.
