I guess it's because Henne can't block, kick, or catch for ****? It's not on any one individual... get it?

I thought you would be smart enough to know I was referring to Marshall.

My bad. Sorry about that. I read one of your, or I thought it was yours, previous post that was talking about how great Marshall was in the past and jumped to the wrong conclusion. As far as why I think we as an entire unit is melting down in the red zone... I will just leave that up to the HC to figure out... oh wait... he doesn't know either. Perhaps, that is the real problem.

Na, one cannot argue with hatred.

I just so happen to love the Logo. Players come and go but the good ones deserve praise. Marshall has been the best player on offense this season. A top 5 Wr for sure....

Elite WRs do not drop 3 out of 4 possible TDs. They make PLAYS.

I thought we were talking about red zone performance. Only one of those you mentioned happened in the red zone. Henne ran for a TD in the red zone. But I guess that doesn't count. Like I said, my point is that it's the whole offensive unit that isn't performing in the red zone.

When you get the count down pat come back to me.

He is proven elite! He's also a hot head that I would kick to the curb in a milisecond if he continues to throw tantrums. I'm not a Brandon Marshall fan other than the fact that he wears the logo I root for.

I'm also not a Chad Henne hater because he's improved even if its a small amount or a huge leap. I see improvements but he is not PROVEN just yet.

You're mixing sentences. His (apparent) drop in the end zone cost us dearly. seems the vast majority here are saying Haden did not touch the ball and it went through BM's hands. I guess it is similar to last week when someone said being "elbowed" is sufficient excuse to drop potential touchdowns.

We've all worked with head cases, its never been a positive experience for me.

The pass yesterday was no easy catch. If Hayden touched the ball or not. His hands were eye level with Marshall.

Easy or not is not relevant, it was still a play that could have been made. Which leads me to the other issue. Did Marshall fade to the back of the endzone making it possible for Haden to get back involved in the play. I can't find a replay to know for sure. Henne's throw seemed fine, can't confirm without a replay either.

Easy or not is most definitely relevant when a defender is right there! He could have caught it. The over the shoulder Td, he should have caught it. Nothing was in his face even though it was also not easy, he had both mitts on it.

He hasn't been proven elite in Miami Oz...... Other than that I agree with what you are saying here.

He does not have to be proven in Miami even though he has proven it to me. First season he did great even though he was hurt and HE and his Qb were hampered by scheme. This year and especially in the first two games, he's been EXCELLENT.

He leads the NFL in dropped passes so far this year and isn't even in the top 10 in rec. yards.....this is what you call "EXCELLENT"
Marshall has been outplayed by Brian Hartline imo and hasn't done anything besides make one or two nice catches this year. He MUST improve or he means nothing to this team. He is miserable at getting open and even worse at fighting for position in the endzone. He is doing nothing but hogging reps from other WR's and than dropping them....Hartline has made more good catches this year than Marshall and we need to start feeding him and Bess more. Henne will stop throwing his way if he just keeps dropping passes and making Henne look like an idiot

You damn right I call him excellent! I dont give a rats *** about drops. The best Wr's year in and year out lead the league in drops.

What?????? Ted Ginn and Braylon Edwards led the league in drops a couple years ago. Not anywhere close to the best WRs.

LMAO!?!?! You need to re-evaluate your assessment on what makes a good WR. If Marshall doesn't drop passes we might score more TD's and in turn might win more games or at least be more competitive on offense. An elite WR doesn't drop balls in the endzone and knows how to help bail out their QB by getting open or fighting for position on the ball. Sorry sir but Marshall has dropped off the last couple years and that is nobody's fault but his

You can laugh all you want. I don't need to re-evaluate anything. Almost every single elite Wr has a lot of dropped passes. Elite Wr's absolutely drop passes in the endzone.

You're living in a fantasy world if you think otherwise.

    Look at this!!

Brandon Marshall LEADS the NFL in drops with 4. And Bess has 3!

No wonder Henne is struggling, try CATCHING the ball guys!!

By the way. Andre Johnson has 2 and Calvin Johnson has 2.

No other team has 7 drops from their starters.

    That is a pass man.
Look at the replay. Of course the initial view in full speed looked like Haden made a great play. But Marshall let the ball come to him and never fought for that football obviously.
    Henne put it there.
Brandon Marshall should make that play

And every receiver, TE, and RB on this team has dropped plenty, for 3 years now. Maybe you should take this up with our ****ty coaches.

He was not supposed to fight for THAT ball. It was supposed to be there sooner. It was a good pass but Haden's hands went right in front of Marshalls line of sight.

Marshall moved inside and it was single coverage with Haden on the short slant.
Marshall needs to catch that football. No question about it.
    Henne's ball placement was there.

  36. Ozzy

    Ozzy Premium Member Luxury Box

You dont get it. Henne needed to throw that ball the instant Marshall was open. No one said it was a bad pass. Haden was in his line of sight so no, its not an easy catch.

I agree wholeheartedly, but that's way too complicated for some people to understand. Try dumbing it down to just one player. Hmmm, the QB maybe...
