I thought Haden tipped the pass? If he didn't then Marshall once again has cost this team dearly. Don't forget the idiotic personal foul play either. Head cases usually develop into headaches for everyone else. I'll have to find a replay...and it will give me the opportunity to see if BM faded to the back of the EZ allowing the db to make the play too.

who said it is any of their faults......Henne and Marshall are the least to blame....this has more to do with their 7th rounder being their best Secondary option....

I thought the one yesterday was catchable. Not sure if Haden tipped it or not. Didn't see a clear enough replay. But yeah, you spend 2 second rounders on a guy, you expect to make 2 of those 3 catches.

As talented as BM is he still has not played to his potential (my opinion),he has too many drops and needs to stop the dumb penalty.

Hayden had good coverage , made a really good play , but Marshall didn't go get the ball , he didn't use his big body advantage and did not attack the ball. It wasn't a drop per se , but once again , the throw was more than good enough that a premier WR should have caught the ball for a TD , imo.

From the replay, Hayden didn't touch it. Marshall was bothered by Hayden's presence more than anything.

The only thing Marshall needs to do is be more aggressive when the ball is in the air. Find the ball and fight for it. If he did that, he'd be very-near-or-on the same level as Johnson and Fitzgerald, IMHO. Right now, he gives up too easily. He's letting lesser players out-muscle him. He needs to funnel his passion into his hands.

What's his potential, though? He's on pace for 1,392 yards so far this season.

Not how I saw the play. BM was behind Haden. Henne threw the ball the only place it could be caught, high and out of the reach of Haden. Haden almost got it but couldn't disrupt. Ball hit Marshall in the right hand and as he tried to grab with the left hand the ball went between both hands. Not an easy catch but a #1 WR should be able to make. Any time a ball goes through a WRs hand it is a dropped ball imo.

BM appears to be suffering from BPD (Big Play Disorder) on the field as well and thinks the end zone is a no-catch zone. The one TD he did get he forced his way into the end zone punishing Jason Allen. Perhaps Miami just needs to call plays to get him the ball at the 5 yard line and let him force his way into the end zone, b/c BM trying to come down with the catch in the end zone is not working.

There was another play last week in which BM was supposed to establish inside position on an inside slant from the 2 yard line. He got jammed as soon as he crossed the end zone, stopped dead in his tracks and ball was almost picked. Miami/Henne have trying to feed the beast some TDs, but clearly has not shown to be the alpha WR at least I thought we were getting, yet...but I keep hoping.

Typical of BPD (the actual disorder) is to get emotionally intoxicated and blame on others. BM got called for personal foul two plays later, then headed over to Moore.

    STEP IT UP BM!

"Elite" WR's make plays when they matter. They do not drop 3 TDs in 3 games when the team is desperate for someone to make plays.

Big time wide receivers make difficult catches. I expect him to make a couple of those, regardless of distractions, not the perfect throw, regarless of the cover man. You watch megatron, fitzgerald, jennings, johnson all make difficult catches, their focus, concentration and ability to secure the ball in tough spots is amazing, BM hasn't shown us much of those catches. BM makes a lot of catches and gets us a lot of yards, but we need him to make gamechanging catches. Something he hasn't done a lot for us so far.

you wanna be considered elite, you make those catches plain and simple.

Marshall needs to step it up period. He needs to create more space and get open, he needs to stop dropping balls, he needs to step up to be a leader on offense and he needs to stop getting stupid penalties. He has way more potential than he has shown this year. Henne is not the problem on offense, he might not be Brady or Rogers but he is performing at a much higher level this year and giving his offense chances to make big plays. He is also behind a very "average" OL and is in a constant battle to hurry up and dish the ball away before getting hit

That catch that Massaquoi made was MONEY. He was FIRE on that play. I haven't seen Marshall make that kind of acrobatic, and CLUTCH catch yet. he can go IMHO. I'd rather run with Bess, Hartline and Gates. I guarantee Hartline would have come up with that catch. He has heart.

Awwwww, poor widdle WR had a big, bad defender in front of him????

Watch the catch that Massaquoi made BM, that is what STUD WRs do.

You guys have a pretty short memory. Marshall had a couple of fantastic catches in week 2. I agree with you that he should have caught that TD yesterday if he wants to be considered elite, but putting Hartline, Bess and/or Gates ahead of Marshall is just plain stupid. Marshall draws the best coverage on the field. As much as I love Hartline, you think he makes all those catches if Haden is covering him? I seriously doubt it. Haden is one of the top 3 or 4 corners in NFL, IMHO.

That was a tough catch, dont know that I would call that a drop IMO. That was a laser and Haden was swatting at it, would have been a great catch. yes you want that to be caught but that was mnuch harder to catch than the drop last week

You aren't suggesting Massaquoi is a stud WR, are you?

Jimmy Wilson isn't in Joe Haden's league either...

Not a drop , not a great catch if he made either imo. The play was there to be made , it wasn't , multiple repeats are an issue imo.

He had 2 HORRIBLE drops in week 2 and, surprisingly, one would have been a go ahead TD.

I've been trying to tell everyone here for a very long time how over rated Marshall is but no one listens to me. I'm told over and over I have something personal against him I'm sick of this guy getting so much credit from Dolphins fans for such little production. He is not worth it. From the 3 TD's last season & 2.8 YAC to the 3 TD drops this season. Plus yesterday with that dumb *** penalty. The guy is a fraud folks and now people are starting to realize it. He has done nothing since being in Miami and I don't give a damn about "Oh he has this many yards" I'm tired of all the excuses.
Admit it folks. This guy is nothing but a problem and his play on the field doesn't balance it out because he doesn't make big plays. I am done giving him the benefit of the doubt weekly. In fact during last week I said at this very board he would do something stupid or blow a big play to hurt this team..... And it happened.

I just don't get this... one guy is getting the ball to where another can catch the damn thing and it's that person's fault that the other guy can't catch the damn thing? Add those 3 TD's to Henne's stats in the red zone and see how it looks then. This back and forth could go on for an eternity... and probably will until the entire, damn, team starts stepping up on offense to make it happen in the red zone.

One guy has a history of catching touchdowns, while the other one has a history of being bad in the red zone.

Marshall has dropped one touchdown this season, so far. Everyone is making a big deal about that, for whatever reason.

It is the only excuse Marshall fans can come up with. Flat out Brandon Marshall is allergic to the endzone but it is too convenient to blame Henne.
Even dumbass Marshall himself couldn't admit it. He said he would have to go back and watch the film.
That is a big ego refusing to admit he ****ed up.

I don't think some are getting my point. This team can't run in the red zone, can't block in the red zone, can't catch in the end zone... hell they can't even kick a damn field goal from the red zone anymore. It's the entire unit that is melting down in the red zone. I would expect a guy that is KNOWN for catching TD passes to, well... catch them! Yet he hasn't since arriving in Miami.
