Light at the end of the Tunnel….
I was here last week defending Henne to the death, and while some are ready to say "I told you so" I still have the belief that Henne can be that QB of the future that Miami has been looking for since Dan Marino called it quits.

Henne’s 13 of 20 stat line with 1 TD and 1 INT does nothing to impress and the glaring 0-2 records does not do much to help the cause, but before we get down on Henne and this team let’s be honest – Henne is light years ahead of where he was last year. Nobody expected this team to even come close to keeping up with the patriots in week 1, and as far as offense was concerned we played as perfect a game as you could expect. Yesterday’s loss was to a very solid Houston Texans team that finally seems to be coming together as unit. In Week 1 we saw what Reggie Bush and Chad Henne can do, and how dangerous they can both be when they bring their game. Yesterday we saw a very impressive debut from Rookie Daniel Thomas. Thomas gave us our first 100 yard rusher in more than a season. It would be a stretch to even call the defensive performance Mediocre, but I think they did show improvement from week 1.

I do believe that week 3 against the Browns is a good chance for us to pull all of these elements together for a complete game, and then make judgment on this team, but coming out 0-2 against a solid Patriots and Texans team is not panic mode just yet!

Hang in there loyal Phins Fans, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

    Henne:

    12 of 30 for 170 yards

That's a 56.2 QBR for those playing at home.

the Phins play the Jets and Chargers next correct? Cleveland beat the Phins last year if I recall. I think my 7-9 prediction may end up being kind to Miami. I knew the defense wasnt as good as many thought, and they dd nothing to upgrade the pass rush in the offseason. Its Cam Wake or bust I guess...............

Is there something against pancaking a DL on his *** if he wants to stand on his toes and reach to deflect passes? Becase why are our OL not doing this? I mean i really think the OL should shove DL to the ground once they start to step back and look to bat down passes at the LOS. Our OL don't finish plays and play with very little leverage.

Same with our DL actually. They play with zero leverage and in a game where the lower man wins we get freaking bullied! Also, I hate the Texans because in every game we pay them their OL dives at our DL knees. I saw Soliai needing to step back to protect his knees a couple of times yesterday and it pisses me off!
