There definitely has to be some frustration with the character of the team though. They lose last week on defense, this week on offense, both weeks on special teams, every idea they've tried has marginal (if at all) success...just very frustrating.
Sadly enough, I think its been so long since Miami has had an attacking offense that most are really in awe of Daboll. I like that we finally have change. I do see what you are saying about the playcalling today. He never got Bush out in space on a screen or anything, some wierd calls with running draws, worked a couple times, didn't most. Was it a great called game, nah, was it better than anything we have seen in forever. Yea, still doesn't make it good, ya know the tallest midget analogy.
No, because Henning would not have kept giving Thomas the ball, Daboll fed the hot hand which is 1000X's better than what Henning did. Example? See Ronnie Brown in last years Titan game. I still blame the defense and the O-line the most (And yes ST). The defense has shown me nothing.
Because winning coaches & working for the Dolphins just are two things in this life the cosmos just doesn't deem will happen.
Who is the last winning coach that has left a team, and brought another team to the playoffs often or superbowl besides Parcells? Tony Dungy, Gruden did it but won with Dungys players. Winning coaches don't leave jobs and automatically win in other places. Its a crap shot with coaches! The one guy (retread) I would not mind is Fisher.
Fisher has a lot of penalties but his teams play hard. I don't mind retread coaches as long as they've shown some potential but were fired for other reasons. Who has done that recently ?
