****. That no huddle offense they ran last night is borderline unfair. We're not going to be the only defense they make look foolish. We were worried with the lockout they would be one of the least affected teams and it looks like we might be right. How worried should we be about this team? They look better than they did in 2007. Can we retool and give them a better game next time out? Is it too early for the 1972 Dolphins to be worried? I hope so. I hate this team so damn much, but it's hard not to be in awe of just how good a system they run. And yeah, Brady is a great QB, but give any NFL QB that much time to throw and he will do well. It's just a great offensive system run by a great coach.
It was still one game. It's not like every defense they will face will play like the phins did last night.Have to give NE credit for what they did but that won't happen every week.
I will say this, I have never watched a NO-HUDDLE where they still rotated offensive players, but the D wasnt fast enough to match and get aligned. WTF!
That's the question isn't it? Was our D that bad or was their offense that good? I hope you guys are right. I hope this team is not as unstoppable as they looked last night.
They used that damn double TE formation, and play action works really well off that. Plus Woodhead looked like Chris Johnson last night (at times). They did all this and Chad Ocho was basically useless. That is borderline unfair. But their D is soft. They made Chad look like Steve Young.

I would agree with you. I don't think they are better but that is one good team, unfortunately. The TE's are solid but they are missing the big play receiver that Moss was in '07.
They had a better D in 07 also. They have to score like that to win regularly. So, no, no worries yet.
The defense will get better and the offensive production will come down as other teams get up to speed as well. I don't see them being better than 07 unless they find some ridiculous way to incorporate Ocho more.
Meh...there are more weaknesses, can't see them not losing at least one regular season game. If the Dolphins could actually score at the 1 yard line instead of coming away with just 3 points, that game would've been different.
Really really hope all you guys are right. I think it's the part homer in me that wants to believe our D is still awesome and were just thwarted by an awesomer force. Either way, it's a lose lose situation. I guess the thing to hope for is that Pats aren't as good as they looked and our Defense can get back on track.
You're the same fool who dismissed Welker after Moss left and now you disrespect the second greatest QB of all time.
First of all, how did I disrespect Brady? By calling him "a great QB"? Second of all, was it really necessary to call me a fool? That's blatantly ignoring this board's Terms of Service. Third, since you joined just this month, how are you aware of a thread I posted last year? Were you already banned once? A mult? Either way, I probably shouldn't have bothered responding to your post.
