so maybe i'm an ebay noob, but is the fact that the first 9 bids were all placed by the same 'bidder' in 5 dollar increments within about 2 minutes total just a way to inflate your bid count to make it look like there's a lot of action on your item? Regardless, this was a great deal and I wouldn't expect you to actually take 99 dollars for 3 tickets Seth, i'm just wondering if that sort of thing is common for sellers on ebay to start low and bid it up to what you really want it to start at on a secondary account

More bids actually dissuade bidders- I can tell you havent used ebay much. IIRC

Long story short, Say the opening bid is at 1.00.

    I am bidder 1, and I bid 200.

Bidder 2 bids 30 and thats two bids but he's still outbid. (Bidder 1 is the only bid that counts)

Bidder 2 bids 50 and thats three bids but hes' still outbid. (Bidder 1 is the only bid that counts)

Bidder 2 finally bids 201 but it shows that bidder 1 was the only one bidding until the 201 jackpot number.

Thats right RRR. All those bids are just the high bids from the original bidder. Other ebayers come in and bid, but the high bidder's is the one that sticks. I don;t mess around or tamper with my auctions. In over a decade, I've had 100% success and positive feedback on every single sale. Thats really what helps me sell them the most.

but this economy and lack of interest is a killer right now.

Gotcha. My bad, I just didn't get how eBay was showing it and was skeptical. Like I said originally you still gave someone a great deal so I wasn't trying to accuse you of scamming anyone, just looked weird to me.
