I know one is Sapp, but I don't know the other. However, I know for a fact that they do NOT belong in this league. I was honestly rooting for you guys but they were terrible.

What was a surprise to me was Jake Long. He had a very below average game for a Top 3 tackle. **** the Pats!

28 is Nolan Carroll and he does not belong.

I think Long was hampered by the lack of practice. Didn't help that Ritchie was not good at all next to him either. I would expect him to recover and get back into form quickly.

eh long was fine for this being his first game experience since last season. Henne still had all the time he needed for the most part. Colombo and Carey should both be counting their blessings for the crushing hit they let through on henne tho.

and yeah, after ss and vd our corners are ****ttttttt

You guys had the game, TBH. Of course it hurts when you guys are throwing fade routes to Hartline of all people. At least Marshall if you guys are pulling a fade route.

I do remember Nolan looking like a promising player in his rookie season.

They're a great team, lead by the one of the Greatest QB's of all time.

He got beat a handful of times by "nobody." He was slow at times, and lacked some of his usual explosion.

It reminded me of the Atlanta game when that was a week 1 game. Only that game he went up against Abraham and got his **** handed to him. I expect he'll be ok, but for Jake he definitely had an off game tonight.

Nolan Carroll is only a 2nd year player. He was up against Wes Welker, Aaron Hernandez & Rob Gronkowski, while facing Tom Brady who targeted him directly. I mean at some point you tip your cap to Brady.

Its not hard to prevent a 99 yard TD. That only happens in Madden.

Thanks for pulling for us. I thought Carroll was promising last year as well. Bennie Sapp was below average last year. Our hyped D line didn't help out much tonight either. Somewhere Channing Crowder, Will Allen, and Lou Polite are laughing their butts off and checking their cell phone every fews seconds.

I thought Brady was amazing pretty much all night (ignoring that he had all day to throw almost every play), and when they were slurping him because of it that was ok. But that 99 yd TD is nothing to slurp Brady about. It was a simple throw IMO, and it was Welker (and lack of defense) that did everything.

Nolan Carroll looked like he was just in off the street. He was lost out there.

Reshad Jones also had a lot of problems tonight. Way too much confusion in the secondary tonight. And they were out of shape.

That group really missed Will Allen tonight.

I'd sign Will Allen straight away and cut Nolan Carroll. I'd also sign Ohara to play guard.

All the confusion and big plays, I wonder if it was a smart decision to bench your DB that controlled them pretty well last year. Although Jones didn't play good, Bell was worse...I think he may be done and I'd probably try a combo of clemons and Jones back there...

Brady was amazing...but its because we got 0 pressure on him. Imagine what Henne would have done with that time.

We played horrible today, defensively. I think we get it together, though. We have too much talent not too.

I'm wondering how we score on goal line situations? Daniel Thomas needs to step up and be that guy.

I was actually going to mention Polite in my next post. He was nearly impossible to stop on goal-line carries. I think he would definitely scored if he was there.

We're going to make Tom Brady look like a lost puppy again. Mark my words. Jets are not afraid of that Ugg wearing fruit cup.

First of all..get it right. Jake Long is not a "Top 3 tackle".

He is simply the best offensive linemen in the NFL.

They ran game after game after game..and he gave up ****.

If you didn't notice, the pass offense got 416 yards. You don;t do that with bad pass protection.

Sapp made a big play (the read that forced the TO) and then gave up a few more. Carrol was picked on because Brady ignored Vontae Island when he had Ochocinco.

Vontae was locked in on Ochocinco and it put a bullseye on the slot..and Carrol paid bigtime for that.

Your defense looked like **** versus Dallas..and you have no pass rush.

I really think that you should prepare yourself for the very real possibility that your team is going to regress and finish 3rd in the AFC east.

If THIS is the real Dolphin offense, your Jets are looking at getting swept this year.

That was like 9 reg season games with 30+ points by the Pats, our defense played terrible but i don't see this as a huge problem going foward.

We simply got the best team in the AFC in week 1....
