the storyline for this team has been a solid to good team held back by henne. now its the opposite. i dont know how to reconcile that in my mind at this point lol
Congrats to rizzi for coming up with that onsides kick play. Definitely makes you think. Fields kinda kicked that one a bit too far to the side though IMO. I hope we get to brady and he gets hurt on this drive if they're arrogant enough to put him in.
He didn't have to beat them. Not getting humiliated a third time in a row probably would have been a plus. Coaching lost this game. The defense was not conditioned and was completely destroyed. This is coaching above all else. Conditioning is one thing the head coach can directly affect. A team from way the hell up in Boston used the climate against the home team in south Florida. That is completely ridiculous. He's going to need to do some really good crap over the next few weeks.

You guys can lay the blame for this loss directly at the feet of Jeff Ireland. Quintin Mikell? Eric Weddle? Dawan Landry? Josh Wilson? Jonathan Joseph? Carlos Rogers? He passed on them all. You're seeing the results now. Ireland also did not particularly well-stock the Cowboys secondary during his time there. He seems content to use a first round pick on a cornerback (Newman, Davis) and call it done.
I swear every year this team resembles a boat full of holes. You clog one hole only to have another one spring up. You tried Sporano, and made some progress here and there, but Im afraid it just isn't enough.
What it means is that our GM and Head Coach are decent, not great. ANy moves they make or coaching strategies they use will always help us AND hurt us enough to keep us at that level. Decent GM. Average Head Coach. = decent players. and average performances.

I know....lol.....ironic..isnt it. I will say this....defenses do get gashed like this and still end up having great seasons.....anyone think the Steelers arent a good D. We're gonna be fine, and still think we win 10 plus this year
I hate that we've now lost 10 of our last 11 home games. I thought tonight was a MUST win. Next week is a MUST win. The offense was nice & exciting. However, our short yardage personnel could be a problem. I know Haynesworth & Wilford handled our interior, but we've got to have some gusto to stick it up in there on 4th & less than 1. That's why I think LJ is a good addition. We need to try him there.
If this D lays down (like the pass rush just did) then it HUMILIATES Ross in his own building. This D better not quit on the field!

We drafted two of them. Problem is, they're terrible. Safety is a glaring hole in our defense, has been since at least the Gibril Wilson era of 2009. Also, Jaws is hilarious: his on-air cursing hits PFT and he immediately apologizes afterward. Typical ESPN: if you think no one notices, ignore it; if they notice, then act like it's not a big deal and brush it aside.
The Patriots abused our defense. But, I don't see it being this poor throughout the year. I do blame Jeff Ireland & Tony Sparano for not having any players on this team to help with short yardage plays.
So Sparano softening up, like Coughlin in the Superbowl year... having a more lax camp. How has that worked out for our guys? I'll tell ya... they weren;t in shape.
wait why in hell did we let ricky or ronnie go if Sparano is serious about running it up the middle ? we cut Polite and go to a differnt style of running backs then turn around and try to run the old style ruuning game. we got out coached if we improve next week then fine but if they tourch us then Mr rossneeds to fire this coaching staff. if our guys are out played in the heat by a cold whether team then something is wrong.
