The NFL kicks off next week, and so does the tailgating, parties, and game time snacks. Football fans eat. It's part of watching the game, goes great with beer and other beverages, and absorbs some of the alcohol which allows fans to drink more as well as stay awake to watch more football.

It may be an overpriced horrible hot dog with flat beer, ordering a cardboard pizza, or fabulous food with friends. Some even try to go with a theme of the team we are playing to make something different. Chomping on a "Brady Burger" and smashing up a Mr. Bill cookie come to mind.

I've been tailgating and partying for years, and have a number of things to share. My wife, being an excellent cook does help.

However, I'm looking for new things to try, as I'm sure all Phans are, and any suggestions will be appreciated.

Oh yeah, any "beverage" ideas would be a good thing as well.

Whenever I get a chance to go to a game, my first stop is at the arepa cart.

I love making buffalo chicken dip (SUPER EASY) and bacon wrapped stuffed jalepenos....I love grilling and LOVE tailgating!!!
Beverage of choice: Lethal Lemonade....in a gallon jug- 1/3 Vodka (I usually go with Absolut)...1/3 lemonade and then 1/3 cranberry juice....shake it up, serve over ice in a red dixie cup....YUUMMM....be careful, they creep up on you and buffalo chicken dip is not fun when it comes out of your nose....
