Without any hesitation or shadow of a doubt Yes.

Dansby is already a leader and is the best MLB since Zach. He makes us worlds better. But again defense needs offense to limit opposing teams opportunities and quit putting their backs against the wall. Your MLB is not going to take you from a 7-9 team to a 10-6/11-5 team on his back.

Marshall yes because he is know and proven commodity. But this is always been my argument with WR, they are only as good as the qb and the offense around them, they need to have someone get them the ball, they dont have it handed to them, so they are at the mercey of someone else until he gets the ball in his hands. Yes he had drops last year but Henne and Henning seriously limited what BM was able to contribute.

I don't get this question. Is getting your girlfriend a boob job good?

    Depends.

Measure and weigh each boob precisely; call it your "combine."

Then gather stats on the boobs for a couple seasons; make a chart comparing those stats to the stats of other boobs of the same cup size; analyze the results, make a post and we'll decide.

Wide Receivers need a QB to throw them the ball, and a Head Coach + Offensive coordinator that's willing to commit to the passing game.

Randy Moss was a phantom in Oakland.

1005 yards receiving and 8 tds ,16.8 yards per reception one season for Moss

1014 yards receiving and 3 tds, 11.8 yards per receptions last season for Marshall

NOT BAD PRODUCTION FOR A PHANTOM

I think you're over-analyzing something that can easily be quantified with a simple "eye-test", or the more in-depth "motorboat".

Brandon Marshall elite? Define elite. He's not top 5. And he's barely squeezing into the top 10.

I really hate trading away picks! Especially two first day picks for one player.

But both Marshall and Dansby are excellent players so I'm very happy they're Dolphins

Dansby without a doubt was worth it. It was only money, not even ours. He performed and is a leader.

Marshall? Meh. I don't like trading 2nd rounders, especially for wide receivers. We'll see on that one. I hope I am really wrong.

Eh, not quite. I'm not taking him over Andre Johnson, Fitzy, Roddy White, Calvin, Jennings, Desean Jackson. He's on the bubble with guys like Mike Wallace Vincent Jackson Miles Austin. Hell Even Santonio Holmes. I didn't include Wayne because I think age might limit him real soon. Nicks is also on the bubble

If he becomes 2007 Marshall than certain we can move him up for sure. Top 3? There are only two receivers you would take over him?

Both deals are still fine, the only quibble I have is we have made ourselves into the market leader in handing out large contracts with Dansby, Beast and Soliai in the Top 5 or higher in contract size, that is not sustainable and we will lose some key pieces via FA if that continues.

I'd probably put Dez Bryant on the bubble too (assuming he can stay on the field).

There are a lot of talented receivers out there. The problem is that you rarely see any hit free agency, at least not ones in their prime.

Marshall is every bit as good as any of these Wr's! Better than some even. Last season he had a Qb who struggled to get him the ball, and an offensive coordinator that had his entire Wr corps running some of the stupidest routes known to man. Yet Marshall still had a pretty solid season.

Andre Johnson. Roddy White. Larry Fitzgerald. Calvin Johnson. Desean Jackson.

Which one is he as good as or better? He could be as good as them, but hasn't, lately. If he turns it up just a little yes he leapfrogs right into this group but right now, he's sitting behind them. You can be as good as anyone talent wise but until you put pen to paper you haven't written anything.

Don't get me wrong, I want him to have a 2007 type season. That's top 3/5 material right there. But I'm not taking him over those just yet.

As good as all 5 of them! The only ones I may consider to want more are Johnson and Fitzgerald.

Dansby has been a difference maker in our defense. Can't deny it, can't argue with it. Question you have to ask yourself, if Dansby weren't here who would be? Given the type of teams we have to play, you have to have inside linebacker that can cover as well as stop the run. And this is exactly the reason why Burnett is here this year instead of Crowder. I believe that this year this defense becomes Dansby's defense, a positive side effect of not having Crowder here.

Despite the fact that Marshall couldn't find the end zone last year as he has in the past, I think we all have to agree that that's probably more to do with our OL and quarterback woes then any deficiencies in Marshall's game he.

In short, yes and yes. I find it's surprising that a thread started on the subject at all.

Yes, Dansby is a leader on the defense and Marshall is a true threat on offense. I am looking for big things from Dansby and burnett this year and they will be good mentors for the young Lbs. Marshall's presence and abilities will enhance the opportunities for the other WRs.
