Ricky was gone and done in Miami as soon as he made those remarks in the offseason. He never was an option to begin with.
This is kind of funny, Larry Johnson career highlights: Career highlights and awards Felony Aggravated Assault (2003) Misdemeanor Domestic Battery (2003) Pushing Woman to the Ground (2005) Pushing Woman in Nightclub (2008) Spitting Drink in Woman's Face (2008) Disturbing the Peace (2008) Doak Walker Award (2002) Jim Brown Award (2002) Maxwell Award (2002) Walter Camp Award (2002) Senior Bowl Most Valuable Player (2003) 2× Pro Bowl selection (2005, 2006) 2× All-Pro selection (2005, 2006) Kansas City Chiefs MVP (2005) Holds the all-time NFL record for single season rushing attempts (416)[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Johnson_(American_football)
nevermind guys, he's wearing #23. And while the official site has him on the front page as if he's the savior, that number is not going to keep him on the roster very long.
As Sick said earlier, why wouldn't they have just signed Tiki? I mean is there really any drop-off to what LJ offers?
absolutely, so the bottom of the roster churning begins. I'm curious as to whether this was a knee-jerk reaction to our issues on the goal line last week? Hopefully not.
No offense but isn't that kind of like saying you'll only be concerned about the infection on your leg if the leg gets amputated?
wait & see, will reserve judgement however we did terminate Williams & Brown doesn't seem to make sense to me
you guys make to much out of this, kory sheets sure talked a nice game, but when the lights came on, he was nowhere to be seen, larry johnson has not played in some time, maybe he is fresh and if he is not showing anything he will be gone too
We'll see how this turns out. Johnson may well have something left to add. Maybe. All I know is that today, we are once again the butt of a joke in the world of football, and it'll be worse if Johnson clearly can't hack it and gets cut after Saturday's game. This is the definition of a signing with a much higher risk than reward possibility.
the joke of the world of football because we signed a former pro bowl running who probably is out of his prime into competition for the 3rd or 4th RB spot, yeah we are a joke, i don´t know what the high risk could be on that signing, because we let kory sheets go ?
Did Thomas even play in the 2nd half? As I recall, when the rest of the starters came out, he did too.
lookout women of SoFla Larry J is coming to town......................to spit on you. Are you kidding me? Wait, oh now I get it. He's a former KC Chief. They were once the DALLAS Texans. Though Irish took an indirect route, the Dallas pipeline remains operational.
Uhhhhh.... what is the risk? And why are we "the butt of a joke in the world of football"? B/c we signed a guy to compete for a spot at the bottom of our roster?
These are exactly the kind of moves that continue to cement public opinion that we are laughable. True or not, it's not the best thing you could do to create a 'premium' perception around the Dolphins brand. And with very little upside (imo), it's not worth that publicity embarassment.
Really? this guy han't done anything in years and is a problem child as well. At his best he was a hard inside runner, but he hasn't been that guy in awhile. I'm more than confused.
