Ronnie goes in second series and has six carries already. These are screencaps as I watch the game on my laptop via NFL.com.
Muck, question about the preseason package. If I got it, can I share it with someone like Netflix? Like can two people log in to one account?
Haven't tried it this year. Last year they were wise if you tried sharing. BTW - it was great last year. But they've really enhanced things this year. Great job NFL.
Some things will never change. Never reached the level that just about everyone thought he would. Me? (tooting my own horn here) new he wasn't going to be a great back. However, what may help some in Philly is having a more spread offense and having the constant threat of Vick running that the defense has to respect.
Nothing to recover from. They will just win it next year. Being really good is fun. You know what that's like. Uh..oh. sorry.
Ok please don't turn this into an NBA thread. Ronnie just doesn't have the speed and you could see it out there. It just is what it is. He's going to be a reliable bettering ram for them that they've previously lacked.
Pretty much...they haven't really had a short yardage back in years. He'll be a good compliment to Shady McCoy
It bittersweet for me, I hated to see him go as much as I hated to see the WC roll onto the field when Henne was moving his team in rhythm.
Not even that.. he was getting destroyed everytime he lowered his shoulder. It was hard to watch..he's gone down pretty fast over the past couple years, I knew once I saw him taking big hits last season that it was over.. because that's the one thing that NEVER happened to him before.
Ronnie Brown has not recovered from his last injury. It was a matter of time till he just could not go on. He is the very definition of injury prone, and now he seems like he is on the way out. He is a 150 carry back now, which is a far cry from what he was. He will be fine in Philly as a #2, but that Lis Franc was a killer.
Bills and Lakers provide the perfect karmic balance As for Ronnie, like I mentioned before...he'll be useful for short yardage situations. Shady's not a bruiser
Nice cookie-cutter comeback, scro...I actually grew up in Miami though, and live here now. I'm also willing to bet that if our pictures were put side-to-side, you would definitely be closer to those aforementioned adjectives. I'm devilishly handsome, and kind of a big deal around here.
Weird, I saw a completely different game. I thought he looked really good, especially with defenders in the backfield when he got the ball.
