Alright, the one theme that I have noticed is Pat Devlin (and I constantly want to call him Joe Devlin, longtime PhinFans will understand why) is playing quite well for a UDFA Qb. That and JT is having a fine outing. And Julius Pruitt is now making plays, interesting guy.
Henne had a nice practice tonight by all accounts. He's trying to get in sync with Brandon Marshall a lot--which is good. Reggie Bush had a couple big plays--running and receiving. Daniel Thomas also broke a big run. I'm a little worried about Henne facing the Falcons with Murtha blocking Abraham.
You didn't hear? Murtha is starting now. He's younger and we believe he has more potential. He's expected to be out the first game--preseason game.
Devlin is playing well? I haven't really seen that anywhere. All I've seen is he's playing like a UDFA... Hope you're right though. I'd like to see him stick for this year. I think theres some good potential there worth developing Sounds like Henne had another good practice, sounds like he's using marshall alot. I suspect things will continue to get better now that we've got ALL our guys out there. Some good reading there.
Yeah, that is why he was running with the #1's in the 6th practice, as O correctly points out that is a suicide mission vs this Defense, will be interesting to see how he did. BM saw very few passes go his way this evening B27, surprising as I wanted to see if he had that extra burst he worked so hard to get in the offseason.
Even after the craziness of this offseason I'm excited for the 1st half of the game with the Falcons. And the kid had a Dolphins hat and JT Jets jersey! Jets and Dolphins gear on one person...rare sight.
I wonder if it has to do with the fact that anyone in the stands can hear the playcalls and see any signals once they are on the close field.
Or perhaps the kids who posted 30 minutes of practice video on Youtube the other night. (yes, I yanked it off the site).
Not dolphins related D22, but Phil hunt's chances of sticking jumped up when Ricky Sapp left and Abrimari broke his foot, Adam Caplan said he has 1 guy to beat to be the #5 De, and he ate Danny Watkins alive on 3 consecutive plays for sacks. Now, that is out of the way, there is one thing that really bugs me about the Sparano Regime: Why do they make it so difficult for fans to participate in events? A dummy #6 practice with really nothing happening from a professional football pov, and they move it what..100 yds away to a far field where the packed stands cannot enjoy it, only to be left with a punter to watch>? To me that is bull****, plain and simple, folks make the effort to get out there, with a storm threatening meaning the players go into the Bubble and the fans are left to get wet, and they only bone they get for the effort is a bleepin' punter? Do better.
