Hopefully he's settling in nicely to where he is going to stand with that clipboard next season. Sheesh. Heck I'd be happy if we even brought in Dennis Dixon I don't know if I'm even comfortable having Moore as #2.
I think Moore is raw, has talent but needs to be refined. Only thing about that is that they haven't been too successful polishing Henne's skills either at this point so I can only hope this new OC does something different to help these guys. I for one don't think Orton was the answer so unless we got VY I say this wasn't too bad of a move
Same here, if he plays or not I want him to at least be proficient in BEING a Qb, know the offense, not trip over his feet or the Olinemen steps on his foot, doesn't take timeouts in dumb situations, like out of a TV timeout or change of possession TO, play fake actually is efficient. It will be a shock to see it, maybe...dare I..he can even throw a screen pass on time and where the running back can catch the ball...
He didn't exactly have much time to prove his worth either...Carolina was **** and didn't really have the tools to help him succeed
I'm from Charlotte, NC and got to see Moore play. Do yourselves a favor and don't get excited. He is no better than a decent, at best backup. Certainly not going to challenge Henne for the Job. I wouldn't be surprised to see Devlin pass him on the depth chart pretty quickly.
Well, I'm from WNC and watched him play a bit, thought he was good in prior to 2010, but more like "wow, Moore is surprising us" then "wow, did you see that!" sort of play.
thing is I don't really think this whole time that we were really looking to have much competition for Henne unless it was gonna be Orton for a great price. I think at this point it's all about finding a decent fallback option in the case Henne gets hurt. Sparano is gonna sink or swim with Henne and it's been that way all along
Exactly. His good play was quite surprising. But he came crashing back down to earth without a doubt.
