Thats true, but Olsen could have been a nice addition to this offense. Clay likely will fill the role Olsen would have had here for the most part, but Clay is still unproven, so having Olsen who could be jettisoned in 2-3 years or as a bridge after Fasano is let go wouldn't have hurt. Just saying, on offense we really are counting on some big contributions from rookies to be even marginally successful.
Zach Miller would be a huge addition but I think the Raiders are going to break the bank to keep him. The Panthers are assembling a nice little roster but I don't think they'll compete with the depth in their division.
Zach Miller would pretty much be the best addition possible right now. I know the team would rather go with heavier WR sets but Miller would be something else for Miami. You'd flip between 2-TE and 3-WR on almost every possession. Other than that any offensive linemen worth looking at?
If the Panthers traded for Olsen I suppose that means they wont be re-signing Dante Rosario. Not a big name or sexy pickup but he is a guy that over 4 years of being under utilized has averaged 10.9 ypc over 82 catches with 5 TDs. He's also got decent size at 6'4'' 250. He could be brought in and would be a definite upgrade over Mastrud and Shuler.
