I just watched it for the first time and it had some things that I liked and some that I disliked. The special effects are great and Mark Strong turned in a superior performance as Sinestro.

It seemed kind of disjointed with how they handled Hector

I didn't think that Ryan Reynolds was right for Hal Jordan and I still don't.

    What was your opinion.

I saw a sh1tty hadji copy so I really couldn't enjoy the special effects as much as I could have had it been a good dvd quality copy.

I think like everyone else, there were some good parts and there were some eh, ok parts. I think it needed a stronger storyline with more character development and if there are any sequels planned, I hope they take that into consideration.

As stupid as this may sound, who else could you have gotten to play Hal Jordan? We have no real "buff" American actors anymore...Collin Ferrell? John C Reilly? Ryan Reynolds being Canadian at least could pass for being American.

Kind of a shame isn't it? Our American "Super Heroes"....all being played by foreign actors.

Oh, I wouldn't say thathere aren't any buff American actors. Channing Tatum and Chris Evans are both pretty muscular, although I wouldn't cast either as Hal Jordan.

I'm also not really troubled by the fact that all of the superhero movies nowadays are portrayed by non-Americans, especially the Brits. However, if it makes you feel better, there's probably no better "back at ya" than Meryl Streep playing Margaret Thatcher.

I thought the movie was cheesy. Every time Blake Lively opened her mouth it was funny...and not in a good way.
