All of the digging and prying these clubs do prior to the draft and managed to miss this?????? Almost as embarassing as the Sal Alosi scandal.

I don't think we should get our hopes up for this happening..He has to be convicted, and there are people in his camp that I know and trust who say he's a good kid and that things will work out...He was at a party with a lot of drunk folks..

That's a bit excessive don't you think? You're actively cheering for a 20 year old kid's life to be forever ruined because his rights are owned by a team he hasn't even practiced for yet. Look, I hate the Jets as much as the next guy. Hell, I went to Alabama and hate Greg McElroy now. I've loved the Dolphins for decades and hate JT now. But there's a line between hating the football player and hating the person. There's a difference between wishing Sanchez throws 30 INTs in a season and gets drummed out of the league and wishing Sanchez breaks both his legs and can never play football again.

 

With the exception of Tom Brady and Mark Sanchez, I draw the line at rooting for injuries. Maybe that makes me a bad person. But I don't think I'm a bad person for one reason: my wishes and hopes do not have any effect on the game!!!!! Let's keep that in mind before we get all self-righteous.

 

Its not that I have a tough time finding sympathy for any Jet misfortune, I'm just not looking for it.
