I think Oakland last year can qualify as one of those games. Miami was in charge of that game from start to finish.

 

Its just I believe had they been 4-12 it would have reflected better where I think they are than 11-5. Besides that we would have had one hell of a 1st round draft pick too.....not sure who but it would more than likely been a real stud.

 

Yep...thats what I thought too. Miami never looked back once in that game.

But you make my point for me. We may have dominated those games, but we were no more than an unlucky break from a loss on all 3 of those. How pathetic was our offense for our team to be in that position ? As long as this regime thinks we a "keep the game close" and play for field goals mentality, we will be living on the edge.

 

After that did you have a reason to believe we wouldn't win ? It was over by halftime for sure.

Didn't we beat the Bills 16-3 back in 08? I know we didn't score a lot of points but we held the ball for a good period of time (chad was something like 24-30 for the day) and our D took care of the rest.

For whatever it's worth, I do recall Rosenhaus making those comments on TV. Although I cannot tell you word for word, Jake's post does cover what was said, with no room for interpretation. I remember this because I was thinking the same thing on potential future coaches considering Ross as an ***, and perhaps staying away.

Since then, Rosenhaus has said different things towards Miami, which were a lot more favorable. I don't believe it's going to make any difference on FA signings but, may well when it comes to coaches. It may have already with the new OC. The coaching community is a tight knit group, and does not take lightly to one of their own being shown the disrespect Sparano was.

Ross has done nothing good for our team. His comment on blaming the players for the lockout likely did more harm than anything any agent could say. I would be very happy if he would just STFU, and sign checks.

All that being said, it's still going to come to money, and where people want to live.

I recall him saying that he and other agents were telling their clients to steer clear of teams facilities, and that he was telling his Miami Dolphins clients to stay away from the players offseason workouts.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. Drew says all kinds of things, and I take most with a half a grain of salt (like Pryor a #1 pick). However, as much as it pains me to say this, Jake was right on his comment.
