First let me say this is my first thread here. next let me say i dont understand some of the aspects of football becuase i was into other things in youth but I have always rooted for the dolphins , Yet I just didnt pay attention to all the details and rules and stuff but I want to learn. Let me say the fondest memories are of Bob Griese throwing to Howard Twilley and Paul Warfield and of Csonka smashing over people. I dontknow about you guys but I absolutely loved watching Dan throwing the ball downfield to MadDog , OJ McDuffie Keith Jackson, Irving Fryar , Nat Moore and the Marxs brothers . my thoughts on the current team are . We need to be a much better passing team and take the pressure off the running game so our backs can have a better chance to succeed . I have been disapointed that we hardley ever run a 4 wr set and that Miami has been too one dimensional ,therefor we cant seem to beat the better teams because they know miami is going to do one thing and that is the same thing so I am a big fan of changing to a more 2 or 3 dimensional offense. Do you guys feel that this could be or may havebeen a weekness for this club ?
We need to be a better team period but yea, the passing game is a particular weakness. I am one of the seemingly shrinking number who still has hope for Henne (sounds like a charity cause...Hope for Henne) Its pretty obvious that this team was deficient as an offensive unit last year but it wasnt only limited to the passing game, the running game was pretty subpar as well as far as the running backs go. I loved RW and RB but its definitely time to get some fresh legs in here and thats why I loved the Daniel Thomas selection. Pretty excited to see what free agency brings (hopefully DeAngelo Williams or Ahmad Bradshaw)
All right who got banned and came back for a clean slate? Just Kidding, alot of us on here are just as frustrated with our offense lately. Good news is we have a new O coordinator so hopefully we can get away from our short-bus offensive mentality. Bad news is our new O coordinator came from Cleveland which actually had a worse offense than us. We have alot of good young players that hopefully can make some strong strides this year and maybe we could sneak up on most opponents like we did a few years ago. Welcome to the board!

I guess it's a good thing to know so little, while being able to question RB sets in a 4 WR formation.
Most likely under Cam Cameron would be my guess, or maybe from Scott Linehan or Mike Mularkey when he was here. Either of those Offensive Coordinators would be my best idea as an answer to your question. If you want to go further back then assuredly you'd see it from Chan Gailey, he has always and likely will continue to put multiple receivers on the field. The 2nd rule to this place aside from Aqua claiming his name or nickname or whatever he's mumbling about is that anyone whop has a "Draft Guru" Badge you should know is completely full of ****. Avoid those guys like the plague and you'll be fine...............bastards those guys are. If you need anything always feel free to send a PM, unless of course you're looking for an opinion, an answer to what that bump, rash, gaping hole, pustulating heaving mass is in the crack of my ***. If you need those answered then you'd likely best go to Samphin, Lucky or Sick, those guys will be able to help you out better, as they've had just about every rash, bump or socially debilitating infection there is out there at one stage or another.

Week 8 last year. But it's hard to go 4 wide when you only have 3 NFL WRs like we had last year. That's Bess in the slot, uncovered. The Bengals didnt bother going dime (6 DBs), apparently they didn't respect our 4 wide set. Or maybe they had a lot of guys out injured. Either way we should have the advantage in this formation and but we didnt use it much, nor did we attack out of it. Bess runs a 5 yd curl on this play, just enough for a 1st. IMO he should've been attacking the FS down the field while Wallace ran the short route to hold the corner in place. Oh well. Bye gones.
They used it some last year. Henne had 76 pass attempts out of that personnel group. Its not something they base out of though.
