LOL. man.... that news plane, or those messages in a bottle really get to Bermuda at a snail's pace.

Con, those divorce proceedings "that showed Wade to not have such a great character", ended with the judge threatening to throw his ex-wife in jail, 3 lawyers dropping her as a client and the Judge granting Dwayne Wade SOLE custody of his Kids here in MIAMI.

You are just on fire the last two days con.

This is what you call a "baiting" attempt.

and yeah, getting to the finals in the first year with 11 new players is a pretty good start to a Dynasty.

I know you thought you were being clever...that's the best part. LOL

Baiting? I'm just responding to a thread, if you don't like my response, then you shouldn't answer. You shouldn't be upset at us on this Dolphins board, you should be upset with LBJ. He's the one that was talking about Dynasty and all that other crap. I'm reading these posts because it's gotten very funny to me, you Heat fans are just like those Jets fans. Funny stuff.....keep them coming!

Wrong, people hate Boy James because he is an egotistical, self rightous A-hole.

Who else would appoint themselves king?
Who else would have "The chosen one" tattooed across his entire back? Are you F-in kidding me? the Chosen 1? What a turd.
Who else would proclaim "Not one, Not two, Not three, Not four, Not five, Not six, Not seven......."?
Who else would make fun of the guy that just got done beating your *** in a game with a 101 degree fever...oh wait, actually, that was the other ego.....

Very very very easy to dislike Lebron James. He is such an easy target.

So my opinion is called baiting? If I wanted to bait, I think I'd go find a Heat board, but since I could care less about the NBA, I won't go wasting my time. Last time I looked, this is a Dolphins board. Maybe you should go find a Heat board so you can cry away with them.
I know you don't care for my opinions, but I really dont care. This is a fan forum and we all have different opinions. Hope you have a good night!

I am thinking that maybe 70% of the LBJ Haters don't know why they hate him.

and we found a couple of them in this very thread.

And that means he was a saint, or simply better than her? Just because he may be viewed as a better option than his ex isn't a moral stamp of approval.

Having custody of his kids doesn't mean he's a stellar character, only better than hers. One does not automatically prove the other. You may think it, but it doesn't prove it. Or are you saying that having custody of his children automatically makes him of good character? Just curious?

The most you can say is that he's seen as a better option than she is. Having custody doesn't actually prove that he has good character, just that he's a better option than foster care or the other person. No matter what you'd like to lump in with it, thats all it means.

You are officially delusional. I produce reasons, and your heat colored glasses gloss right over them. You honestly believe the things you are saying? Or are you really just the one baiting into arguement?

Its really not that important to me...at all.

Just happy to see Dirk get a trophy.

For the record, I really don't even follow the NBA very much. I just find it INCREDIBLY ironic that nobody created a thread dedicated to the NBA championship.

By the way, can you explain why this team is in fact a dynasty already? Don't dynasties have to an achieved level of success in some fashion other than being 2nd? I'm just curious why someone would use that word to describe a team that just lost in the Finals, and not the actual champion. You've used that word several times to describe this team and I'm beginning to wonder something. Don't get me wrong but.........

Are you sure you know what a Dynasty is?

Maybe I'm wrong, but don't dynasties in sports involve championships in close succession; like the Pats from 2001-2004 (maybe a year off there), or the Yankees run between 1996-2000 for instance?

What exactly have the Heat ruled, controlled or been champions of recently? Just curious to see if there was anything I may have missed; I thought a dynasty in terms of sports involved winning a championship. Cause at the moment your dynasty is based on coming second, and most dynasties I know require a championship to actually start talking about the possibility. It just seems off base.

Maybe you could talk about it next year, should the team be successful in its mission, but saying they're a dynasty right now is a bit premature.

I have not seen people around this area get charged with Drunken Disorderly Conduct. If they do something stupid, it's a Public Intoxication charge. Now I live in a college town, so maybe things are different in your area... But you won't get in trouble for being drunk in public UNLESS you are doing something stupid.

Charges are not as black and white as you're making them out to be.

This is my LAST post on this subject. I have already repeatedly said, the guy aint no Saint to begin with...

    NOW THEN.

You are VERY incorrect. The charges are VERY black and white. That's law. Either it is or isnt as the law states.

What he did to obtain public intoxication might or might not even be heinous.

I see where people are arrested for Drunken Disorderly all the time. Probably more typical than Public Intoxication actually as it usually takes something actually physically taking place to get the cops called in the first place.

No news as to what actually transpired here. We will know with time.

Now then, how about Cuban? Paying for the parade himself!!!!

Charges are not black and white and it's ignorant to think so.

If you want think as simple-minded as either you were or you were not charged, then yes.. I guess it would be black and white.

However if you think the severity of every single crime is the exact same (AKA black and white) then I would say that's very wrong.

At this point it's a philosophy debate... and I've never agreed with you on these types of things so why bother.

You questioned his character because of his divorce hearings. I provided a few reasons not to. Simple as that. Dwyane Wade is one of the very few athletes that has an impeccable personal history, and he is of the utmost character.

I didn't say they were a dynasty. steve did.

I said that this season was a pretty good start to a "dynasty"..which it is.

There has only really been one DYNASTY in the history of the NBA. (Celtics in 60's). But in the modern era of the redefinition of "dynasty" (domination of half a decade), the Heat are off to a good start to starting their own.

I'm not going that far, but I don't thing everything is roses so to speak either.

No storms, but its just really the start of the season. We won't see much for probably another 2 weeks give or take and then you watch, we'll start to see one or two little disturbances coming off of Africa. Speaking of which, I need to buy a generator soon. There's $1,500.00 down the tubes.

Dude, how can you start a dynasty by not being champion?

Not being a smart ***, but name me a team that has started a dynasty by losing the finals. The Heat losing the finals is the start of a dynasty?

Saying its the start of a dynasty kind of goes hand in hand with there actually being one, otherwise its the start of nothing.

    The last one.

The 2008 Los Angeles Lakers lost in the Finals to the Celtics 4-2, then ran off two straight championships and will enter next season as the second favorite to win it all. (Heat is the favorite) Hence a modern dynasty.

Basketball is a easier game to predict Con. It is why site unseen without playing a single game, I said that the Heat would make the finals. It is why Vegas instantly made them the favorite to win it all.

Talent finds a way in the NBA. Them winning is really inevitable. It is about how MANY. Only injury is the unknown factor. How many they win is what will determine their ultimate success historically.

The dynasty would start the year they won the title.

There's no way a dynasty starts the year a team loses the finals. How can you say that about the team that loses, but not about the team that actually won. The only way you'd get a dynasty from this finish is if the team continued to finish second best; hence it would be the same continuation of the outcome. A championship would be a change in the outcome and would signify something new.

The Lakers likely won't win it all, they have some tinkering to do and I'm sorry but going from Phil to Brown is a downgrade of some kind. Bynum may be on his way out the door.

it really is, if you have watched basketball as long as I have. it just is. The NBA is predictable like that. It is not RANDOM like the NFL. Talent always wins out in the end. it is a matter of how many and how much.

and again..I wasn't the one that said that they were a "dynasty". that was the guy hating on them.

Trying to say that the Heat don't have class? The Miami Heat as a organization and their players showed a tremendous amount of class in the face of this onslaught from the media and the irrational hate brigade.

You also said that Miami is going win it all.

First, I didn't thought Miami would gone far until the Perkins trade happened. And even after that trade, banged-up Celtics would have easily gone 3-2 in that series if it wouldn't been for that elbow injury of Rondo's.

No I didn't. I thought that the Lakers could and would probably beat them. I did say that Miami would beat up on the east though..and well...

hate to break it to you, but the Celtics were down 2-0 in that series with a healthy Rondo, and got beat up both times. They played better when he got hurt, and HE played better when he got hurt.
