Like I said, I'd love to see the league-wide statistics because I cannot remember an embellishment call that didn't accompany a matching penalty.

Burrows with 3 points last night. LOL.

Loved Milbury calling Lapierre a 'punk' on national television. What's that old saying? You can take Lapierre out of Montreal, but....

This sh*t isn't over, the Bruins were right there in both games. They've played their best hockey this season with their backs against the wall, its a resilient group. Come back east and take care of business in the Garden.

That said, Chara must be better tomorrow night. Can't afford to have our most dominant player throw up another stinker in the SCF.

The Canucks have ZERO to whine about in the dirty column. Burrows bit Bergeron, end of discussion. With the hacks that Kesler is giving Krejci everytime he's on the ice with him the Canucks can **** themselves, they are as dirty as anyone.

You are not in trouble until you lose a home game, game 3 is obviously massive.

Zdeno Chara has been dreadful through games 1 and 2. He's been a turnover machine. On the other hand, Seids has been a horse and Andy Ference is Boston's best defenseman right now.

They need more form Nate and Looch. David Krejci might be playing the best hockey out of ANYONE in this series but he's getting nothing from his wingers. I honestly believe the Bruins win game 3, I have no doubt.

Lappy will get his, no one will forget his act. He'll end up on another team next year and Sugar or Lone Wolf will feed him his teeth when there is not so much on the line....and I look forward to it.

Not saying they are complaining, just saying that was pretty bad, I hate seeing stuff like that....

Boston wins game 3 and 4 we have ourselves a series, drop either one, and it might be curtains...

if Boston DOESNT drop gloves right now, and fight they are a bunch of pu**ies and deserve to get swept, because Vancouver is absolutely clowing this team, and they are doing NOTHING about it......

That was effing gross, God help him, he looked awful....

Yeah, Vancouver is a likable group (Ryan Whitney clearly has no idea what the hell he's talking about ). Who gives a sh!t about the power play, I'm worried about Horton's career at this point. Wasn't even moving.

Rome doing his best Matt Cooke impression.

    Eff Vancouver.

What would you like them to do about it? You don't think Thornton has already made it clear he's willing to drop with the entire Vancouver bench? It's the entire reason he's dressed tonight.

    It takes two to tango.

you grab the first person (preferably one of the Sedin's) you see and start beating the sh*t out of them, them you do it again, then again, until you get tossed...it doesnt matter about taking 2 to tango, just grab somebody and start hauling bro....

That's insane. It's the Stanley Cup Finals - but let's abandon any hope of winning the series to get revenge on a scumbag like Lapierre. He, Rome and Burrows will get theirs in time, but none of them are stupid enough to throw down with Thornton.

have to say there is nothing in all of sports like Stanley Cup Playoffs. Really enjoying this series. Back to old time physical hockey where you got to keep your head on a swivel to keep your teeth in your head. Personally I love the type of team Vancouver has put together but I got to give it to the Bruins who have played very enjoyable hockey for the last couple of years

What their rings? Come on !! They cant score anyway on the powerplay might as well, honestly you see all the hits Boston is taking, Vancouver is hauling off on them bro...it is like free range out there, with Thomas once again standing on his head.....they need to change the dynamic of the way Van is playing which is too easy and confident, punching somebody in the mouth repeatedly often does this...

Dear god I love Milbury. They don't want Lapierre on the ice in the final 6 minutes - haha. I'm perfectly comfortable with putting Maxim's head on a stick with the game in hand - but not before that.

Hardly surprising. According to reports, Horton thought he was still in Vancouver last night at Mass General.

Heck of a tradeoff for Vancouver though, as they take out our top-line winger and sniper for a scrub, bottom-pairing defenseman.

On the flip side, love the energy that Thornton brought last night and now his presence will not impede Seguin. Still just a brutal loss.

    Win it for Horton!

Nothing illegal about it. There is no rule forbidding a goaltender from engaging physically with a player in possession of the puck...it was awesome.

So, when Bruin Marc Savard bites the Flyers' Daniel Carcillo it is a "non-issue". When Bruin Zdeno Chara hits Canadien Max Pacioretty every bit as violently and late as the Rome hit with an even more serious injury incured it's just a Hockey play. Now granted the Bruins handed the Canucks asses to them last game, but I really don't want to hear any more about the "dirty Canucks" and the "victim Bruins". The conduct on both sides has been less than sportsmanlike and to a point that's fine. Let's hope the rest of the series is played to the level both teams are capable of and is a great showcase for the sport. Oh, and the Canucks win.
