I'd guess Cam is being tagged as "the leader" on the Defense and because the unit played well and the offense did not, he is sort of the spokesmen on Dolphins issues.

Yeah he is kind of becoming the leader for the D in the media....however, listening to him talk though it sounds like its good that he is.

The funniest comments are from fans who don't know what they're talking about but parrot what they've heard from other sources.

he and Dansby provide excellent leadership this year..

From JT and Zach to Dansby and Wake...Very nice transition Irish.

The way this man shifts his body and sticks his outside hand on the talckle and literally removing the 310 athlete from the ground, is freakin cool to watch man..He's all our's.

A part of the reason why I like Aaron Maybin Deej is he has the same sort of rubber ankles Wake has on his speed rush, not the power that Wake has but keep in mind he is still quite young, that is one of the reasons why I'd like to see him in Miami.

Even though I know you are no fan of his game.

He's a small jointed athlete with popcorn muscles, his core strength and narrow frame fail him on this level.

The Miami Dolphins would be wise to lock him up before he hits FA. With the possibility of losing the Franchise Tag in the upcoming CBA, it makes it even more imperative as theirs no fall back option.

JoePa is like one of, if not the greatest college head coach ever. Why in the heck didn't the PSU staff see what they had in Wake and try to develop his talent as a pass rusher?

for the life of me I cant figure out why this kid wasn't a star in college..his overall game is exceptional...amazing how the mind controls the desire inhibiting the player to reach his potential..

I'd really like to know if that was the case in college, I know from watchin him play it definitely wasn't about talent, or being a liability in any certain part of the game.

They don't really develop pass rushers much anymore IMO. They rely more on natural talent. Wake was a captain for them though.

I believe Wake's talked about being distracted and not as dedicated in college.

I think hes a facinating athlete, I hope he tells us how someone with absolute supreme talent can lose focus on becoming a top 5 draft pick and millionare, or if there were circumstances that impeded his ascent..?...blows me away...

If he didn't have those stumbles, he wouldn't be a miami dolphin..

Exactly what would you expect Wake to say. Of course he was going to make positive comments regarding Henne, because Henne is all the Dolphins have right now. Wake is merely parroting the company line in regards to his comments concerning both Henne and Sparano. There are very few players in the NFL or any other team sport who will opening question other players or their head coach in a public forum.

Perhaps if we really knew how Wake feels about Henne and Sparano in private, this would have been a more thought provoking thread.

Actually conu spoke about that Mr C, he mentioned something about a change in staff and the new coaches laying off of forcing guys to learn the fundamentals of Linebacker play so they could land more highly rated recruits.

To me, Aaron Maybin is just another in a long line of talented guys who just got by at PSU on athletic ability alone.
