VERY IMPRESSIVE!! Makes me see what Big Bill saw in the kid! If he could only string together several games like that. I did notice the play action, but also how well he sold it. Granted with a running game that threatens its MUCH easier but the way he did it made the location of the ball tricky I thought. That kind of stealth would help both running and passing games. Looked slick though.

Watching those clips makes me want to re sign Ricky Williams even more. Dude can still motor, has gas left in the tank. I'm not as big a fan of Ronnie Brown, but that was one hell of a catch he made in one of the clips. around the 4:00 mark.

I wouldn't count on it, by next draft there should be a new CBA in place, with a new rookie salary cap. With top five picks being more affordable, along with usually being the best players in the draft, I doubt we would have enough to move up.

I wouldn't, IMO it's not smart to give up our only consistent pass-rusher, and weaken our defense in the process, for one prospect that might or might not pan out, no matter how "cant miss" everyone seems to think he is.

It would be foolish, I agree, to trade Wake plus every draft pick for just Luck. It is far to soon anyway to make such a statement.
Last year at this time, a lot of people thought Jake Locker would go 1st overall in 2011. Then his senior season wasn't very good. I agree we need to see Luck play his senior season without Harbaugh as his coach. Things could change in the rankings. There are possibly 3-4 really nice blue chip QB prospects in the 2012 draft.

Whoever has the number one overall next year is probably going to take Luck regardless of what anyone offers them. He would have been the no brainer number one this year and should be again next year. Who knows, maybe he has an off year or gets hurt, etc so he might be available later but if his stock is still high next year I doubt anyone would trade him, even for an entire draft.

What if its Carolina, AZ after they get Kolb, Tenn, Det because stafford injury, ended with the 1st pick? There are still many many bad teams that would not want or feel need for a QB.

That would be a nice scenario but really a lot of those teams would take Luck too I think. Luck is going to be the no brainer number one overall next year unless he gets hurt this year, he's one of the highest rated Qb prospects in ages. Even if some of those teams are at the top and looking to move the pick I would think we'd need to be in the top 5-10 to even have a shot at him.
