Summary of the reviews I’ve seen: lower pixel density than the iPhone 4, does not run the most up to date version of Android, 4-5 hours of battery life.

Thanks, hey, I am always confused by this...what does that mean....is that 4-5hrs of continuous use? continuous talk time? or turn it on, and it will need to be recharged in 4 or 5 hours like a laptop?

So, the specs call these figures out: They are wrong?

You are saying, its not 400hrs of stand-by, or 8hr of continuous talk time?

The best thing to do is just wait until the release and see what other users are getting out of it. The battery usage is gonna differ from user to user depending on how the phone is used. My boss and I have a Samsung Captivate. I can get well beyond a full work day outta mine with some browsing, gaming, some short phone calls and I never have my email sync unless I manually do it. My boss however has to run for the charger midday because he has an exchange email account setup that polls about every minute. If I don't touch my phone all day(8hour workday) then my battery is sitting on 97% to 99% when I go home.

Poor signal, the display, and constant syncing are battery drainers on any phone.

^ I hadn't had any samsung experience.. but just got the Nexus S yesterday for the pure android, lack of bloatware by the providers, and quicker updates... its running gingerbread and its fast as hell... much quicker than my evo... liking it so far, i was just too impatient to wait on the evo 3d, haha... so grabbed this up instead

but the samsung brand so far has been good for me...

I am also using voice to text. Can't say enough about this phone. Fast as hell. Got it on day 1 and I am extremely pleased.
