Heat started out the same way versus BOSTON last time. Celtics got out to a 11-2 lead....then got blasted by 23. The Heat like to spot teams 10 point leads...just to make it fair. LOL

I give him credit for at least neutralizing KG on D, but man. I get the feeling he should be doing more than just settling for jumpers. Gets my goat each and every time he puts up a duck and it clanks off the front of the rim. He's younger and arguably more athletic than KG... run him off the court and get to the line!

I heard Wade initiated the play that got PP ejected, any non Heat homers on here that can confirm what went down? Either way im glad, PP needs to realize Wade has heart and IMO is about to start dominating the playoffs all the way to the finals. EDIT Ok I just saw the play...the pick wasnt the issue it was whatever PP said to Wade, the announcers thought the ejection was uncalled for but it was a dead issue in the outcome of the game in all likleyhood. Celtics get physical = Good hard plays; playoff fouls; no easy buckets; good coaching; impose a physical presence. Heat get physical = Cheap shots.
Wade probably did initiate it, but tempers were already flaring after PP was acting like a ***** on the James Jones foul.
James Jones very quietly was the best 3 point shooter coming off the bench in the league. You have the warden, and Mario Chalmers fouling people, with Haslem and the corpse of Mike Miller running around making hustle plays...you got a decent bench. and we still have enforcers Juwon Howard and Jamal Magliore just in case, Dampier for bigger teams. All of this "heat have no bench" crap is overblown.
simply put, Pierce got ejected because he stopped playing basketball and started doing his fake tough guy act. He soft butts James Jones in the face..gets in his face like he wants to fight...then does the SAME THING again 2 minutes later with somebody else? yeah, you get tossed.
I have never said they dont have a deep bench, I saw 1st hand what a shtty bench looked like about 2 weeks ago and I can tell you if the Knicks had the bench the Heat have, the Boston series is WAY different. Game 1 couldnt have worked out any better for an equal "HATER" of both teams., my fav. player goes off and leads his team to victory, one of the players i would like to spit in their face gets ejected. Great game 1 indeed.
