We filled our two biggest needs, which is impressive. Time to look at the rest.

QB- No chance in draft other than another 6th round miracle. FA or trade

RB- Looking for lightning to go with thunder. Hunter, White, Jones. FA

TE- 2nd TE to stretch the field. Green, Stocker, williams, Cameron.

WR- Need for speed. Gates, Robinson, Moore. FA

OLB- Looking for pass rush specialist. ? No one I'm high on. FA

ST- a combo return guy/RB or WR would be great.

Opinions & fill in the needs?

Gates, Williams, Jones, or Hunter would be nice.

Special Teams aces. And I'm half-serious.

well, hopefully we took care of 2 of these with Gates ..... looking for TE/Thomas in RD 6 .... the only other possibles are S/Sands or SOLB/Elmore if either are still there.

i believe SOLB will be a carry over need to FA and next year ... even if we grab a guy like Elmore -- not a special player.

i think we'll look to grab another WR like Lockette late and maybe a QB like Enderle or Van Camp for developement in RD 7 or UDFA ....

Thomas was taken by Denver. I think DJ Williams will go to Carolina here. Sands won't make it past the 5th round.

I would love to see the Dolphins add more speed by taking RB Taiwan Jones if he is available with their pick in the sixth round. If not, they should just select the best available player left on their board with their remaining picks. Players picked in the 6th and 7th round are usually only special team players if they make the team, so what position they play on offense or defense is really irrelevant. As long as these players can upgrade our lousy special teams is the only thing the Dolphins should be concerned with this late in the draft.

I liked him too, unfortunately so did the Raiders in the 4th.

I haven't been watching the draft on TV but merely trying to find updates on the Dolphins picks on the internet and on this forum. I guess I missed the pick of Jones by the Raiders in round number four. Thanks for the update and it's too bad that he won't be running back punts and kick offs for the Dolphins next season.

Pick coming up, pulling for Mark Herzlich, Mario Harvey or John Clay
