Well, it's true that she is giving him lessons at tennis. Helping him stay fit during the offseason with the lack of OTA's. Anyone else think this violates the whole lockout thing? I mean, Venus is a minority owner of the Dolphins. And she is helping an NFL player stay in shape when there is supposed to be no contact between the NFL and its players. Not only is she helping him, she is being paid to do so.

A reach? Probably... But hey, it's our Dolphins... we'll somehow be fined / punished.

Yeah, it violates the “no contact during lockouts” rule. There’s no way it can’t. You could also argue it’s tampering in addition.

Seeing how Rodger Goodell justified being able to call Chad Johnson to just chat was within the rules, I don't see how he could turnaround to fine a celebrity minority owner of the Dolphins giving tennis sessions.

The last thing Goodell wants is PR diversion in the week leading up to the draft.

Boy it'd really be something if Judge Nelson ruled for an injunction to end the lockout the day of the Draft. It'd be like pissing in Goodell's morning coffee.

God, I would love to see Bryant Mckinnie in a USTA match. He would hurt people with his serve.

I'd be too distracted to learn anything from Serena too.
