He's 6'2 210 and ran a 4.71 on his Pro Day. S*** on a stick!!---- can we get the heck away from these slow pokes?!

Seriously, WTF is it up with this regime not understanding that we do NOT need any more possession receivers?! Just say no. Put it back. You cant have it.

    Calm down bro.

They're working him out, not signing him to a $15 million deal. ;)

You may want to cover your eyes, as this won't be the last non-4.3 guy they look over. Every guy you work out isn't always with the intention of replacing the #1 guy. Sometimes these are practice squad, #5 types. Sometimes people get hurt, etc. Just run-of-the-mill due dilligence.

That said, this is a local dude who averaged 17.6 ypc and had 14 TD's as a senior.

    OT: From his school bio.

    Favorite Team: Miami Dolphins
    Major: Psychology and Coaching

Still...... you bring in practice squad guys with the mentality that "this is somebody that we eventually want to contribute to this team". I've never once mentioned that we need a team full of 4.3 guys, but you know what would be nice?---> having just 1 of them. We should be focusing our resources & attention on what we need and are currently lacking at the position.

    3 things here:
    1. Level of competition. There are a lot of D1 guys who look better against tougher competition.
    2. He played against a decent bit of zone coverage and was frequently lined up against LBs.
    3. He looks like he's lugging a Buick off the line.

If we want to give a spot to a local kid, then how about Lester Jean instead of on a WR who would need a 23 round draft to hear his name called?

If you're talking about a potential #5, then how about someone who can actually return punts & kicks, or are we throwing in the towel for that part of the game?

Does he play like a 4.71 guy? THAT'S the question you should ask.

Because I've seen plenty of 4.4 guys play like 4.7 guys.

Yes, he looks slow off the line IMO..... and that's against lesser competition.

They are not signing him or giving him anything. They are just working him out. Take two Valium, half a pint of vodka, and call me in the morning if you are not feeling better. ;)
