My predictions lakers over chicago in 6 kobes ties jordan by beating his old team Heres espns predictions http://m.espn.go.com/wireless/story?storyId=6360850&top
The Heat are going to be good for years and years. However, I don't think they're ever going to be able to get past Chicago. They're just too good. It's going to be scary when they add another player next year that is worthy of being noticed. I just can't see the Heat beating the Bulls this year or any other year. Lakers beat the Bulls this year in the Finals in 6.
Yeah..like the Heat won;t add players every year too. The Bulls are the Cavs of last year. A one man dominated team. Don;t let your hate cloud your judgement. Can;t wait to see that 16th ranked offense try to be efficient in these playoffs. But I do thank you..you just guaranteed that the Heat will win the next 6 in a row. I would have crapped myself if you picked them. Do me a favor..predict these things: Jets will be champions. I will never win the lottery. Scarlett Johansen would never want to have sex with me.
The rebellious slaves return and beat Boston in 6, Miami in 7, Chicago in 7, LA in 6. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Valiant effort by the Sixers in the 4th, but unable to overcome the fixed officiating in the 2nd quarter. About what I expected however. Need to watch some tape on Heat's 2-3 zone and come up with a solution for the next time they use it.
LOL. 52-39 rebound edge and Bosh pissing on every Philly Big was the difference. Not Philly fouling to prevent dunks. Maybe stay in front of people? fair warning. LBJ and Wade played subpar. Heat won by 8, and lead from the 2nd quarter on.
In other words you didn't watch the game. Must be the case if you believed the Sixers were fouling to stop dunks. They weren't fouling at all in the 2nd quarter, just your typical fixed NBA, the same way it's been for years. Bosh getting blocked all ball at least twice and shooting FT's wasn't the difference like you seem to think it was, it was the Sixers inability to score when the Heat went to a 2-3 zone in the 2nd quarter. The Sixers came back and made it a one possession game until Wade got off with the most obvious offensive foul I've ever seen not get called for an and 1, and the Heat were able to hang on with FT's at the end of the game. The 2-3 won't work as well next time but I'm sure the refs will make sure to decide more than one quarter next game as well.
Yep. it's a conspiracy that Dwyane Wade was in foul trouble all game. Trying to keep the games close. I agree. They also fouled intentionally 8 times. INTENTIONALLY. you get free throws for those as well. I'll call David Stern to see if they can allow free fouls when Heat players blow by Sixer players on their way to layups. I'll get back to you.
What does that have to do with anything? Are you honestly trying to tell me the fouls that were called on the Sixers in the 2nd quarter after they took a 12 point lead were legit fouls. You should go rewatch the game if you believe that crock of ****. Are you honestly trying to tell me that and 1 that DWade got near the end of the 4th where he ****ing kicked Thaddeus Young to create separation wasn't an offensive foul. What about the blatant charge by LBJ a few plays earlier where he bowls over Thad Young after making a pass. That one didn't cost us because the Heat didn't score, but still, one of the most blatant missed calls I have EVER seen. Enjoy getting all the calls while it lasts, because we all know once you play a top team, where all the calls aren't going your way, the Heat will fold, like they have all year.
Fold? "Like they have all year"? LOL Where do you get this ****? Maybe YOU should be the one watching the games instead of asking me if I watch them. The Heat seems to turn an awful lot of 2 point leads into 10 point wins inside of the last 3 minutes. YES...the Sixers were fouling. if not, the Heat convert a ton of layups. You know it too, but you seem to be under some type of illusion that the Sixers never foul a team that attacks all game. Your Heat hate is irrational, and makes you look foolish, when you make the statements you make.
The Sixers got plenty of non-calls, especially against LeBron. That and the Heat’s lackluster offense for most of the 4th is why the game was competitive toward the end. The refs didn’t screw the Sixers. If anything, the refs kept the Sixers in the game.
That's true. If the Refs Officiated games by the book..the Heat would shoot 60 free throws per game. Seriously..WATCH the games. Good things happen when you go to the basket. "AHHH, that's just a normal playoff foul" is translation for "We can't guard these people"
What's your record again against top teams? Officiating is much fairer when you play those top teams, and without the biased officiating, you can't beat them, sorry. Enjoy beating the Sixers in 5 games going to the FT line 2-3 times more than we do, just to get your asses handed to you in 5 games against a top team. I know I'll enjoy it. I used to be a big fan of the Heat, but now, they've taken the image of LeBron. Bunch of crybaby *****es who whine after every offensive possession looking for a foul. I doubt I'll ever see this team win a ring which is a shame since I'm a big fan of Wade and Haslem.
That's what happens when you go to the basket. I'll tell you what happens when you charge to the basket, offensive fouls. Blatant ones which LeBron and Wade get away with. Just like the NFL, gone are the days of actual defense. Just charge your way to the basket, get blocked or commit an offensive foul, and get rewarded for it with a call on the defense. Luckily for Heat Haters like me, the Celtics and especially the Bulls get away with physical defense and will have no problems taking care of the Heat in 5 games.
That is so February. They won 58 games buddy. Every team plays the same schedule and the heat finished with the 3rd best record in the league, and had the 3rd best record versus sub .500 teams. So figure that one out. (Contradicts your BS...Yes, you bought into haterade bull****) So your goto Hate line of "don't beat good teams" diatribe is outdated. here is how they did against good teams... They handed the Spurs, Celtics, Magic, Hawks and Grizzlies their worst losses of the season, the Lakers their second worst loss and swept them.
Even you at your hating best ...ON CRACK, don't believe that. I suggest you get rich on Vegas then, since they think you are nuts.
OH..and yes...those Bulls of yours look like juggernauts trailing the entire game and needing 39 from Chicago Jesus along with 21 FREE THROWS from him to beat the 8th seed Pacers. I think you are gonna need to root for another team to knock off the Heat. Suggestion...Buy a Laker jersey.
Dwight Howard: 46 mins, 46 points, 1.00 ppm Jameer Nelson: 35 mins, 27 points, 0.77 ppm Hedo Turkoglu: 37 mins, 6 points, 0.16 ppm Jason Richardson: 38 mins, 4 points, 0.11 ppm Ryan Anderson: 20 mins, 0 points, 0.00 ppm Brandon Bass: 15 mins, 0 points, 0.00 ppm Hard to figure out why the Magic lost tonight. When 4 of your top 6 players combine for 110 minutes and 10 points, it doesn't matter what the other two guys do. I've never seen such an unbalanced game from Orlando. It was sickening to watch. Magic out rebound them offensively 13-5, and 40-28 overall. Then undo their hard work by losing the turnover battle 18-8. Despite the Hawks winning the season series 3-1, this game still reeks of a fluke. If Atlanta scores 100 again in this series I will cut off my left foot and eat it.
Funny how nba predictions thread turns into a heat love hate fest hats off to derrick rose tonight, 39 points 19/21 ft havnt seen anybody dominate the pg position like that since magic johnson
Don't worry in 2 weeks the Heat won't even be apart of this NBA playoff thread. New Yawk! Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
I'll bet they DON'T win the title.... We can put the funds in escrow RIGHT NOW if anyone wants to back up their love for the Heat. I would need like 6-1 odds if were talking JUST getting past the 2nd Rd. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
As for FTs: http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/ Good article explaining that sixers settled for jump shots rather then brawl in the paint.
