There are two things this regime has made clear. They like things that are familiar, and bigger is indeed better. Can you believe the Dolphins added six linemen in this draft who average 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, all run under a 5.2, and all have great core strength.

One interesting slip Ireland let through was that Justin Smiley will likely be the starting LEFT guard next season, possibly easing Long's transition to the NFL.

It's smart to put the veterans next to the rookie starters. Smiley will hold Long's hand next season, and right tackle Vernon Carey will likely hold Murphy, Thomas or Drew Mormino's hand as they battle it out for the starting right guard spot.

He ran like a mad man behind last years less then stellar Oline, I'm sure he'll look like a monster behind what could be a big upgrade.

I think you could make the same statement about our QB situation.

I start to feel good again about our beloved Dolphins, Parcell and Co were able to understand and fix our biggest needs with a great draft, which this was totally ignored by the previous staff.

Between our huge runningback and our huge offensive line...do we ever NOT convert a 3rd and short??

Ronnie breakout player of the year, just like was going to be last year before Cleo Lemon busted Ronnie's knee! And now with a better line too, running right or left.

    Nice read.

As others stated, this is the most excitement and potential I have seen from this team in years.
