Jason Taylor and Bill Parcells are at odds, and that should be hard to believe because these men need each other -- Taylor needing a genius football man to bring him a championship and Parcells needing a savant pass-rusher to bring him a championship defense.

And yet these men, giants in their respective NFL fields, today refuse to even pick up the phone to speak to one another, much less bridge what is an increasingly widening gap between them.
    Haven't we seen this before?
Leave it to the Dolphins to be the scene of this kind of drama not once, but twice in a decade, with the Taylor-Parcells drama serving as sequel to the feud Jimmy Johnson and Dan Marino carried out almost 10 seasons ago.

I think Parcells is playing his head game here. They need jason and want him to think no one offered anything for him. They also want him to understand he isn't "above the team"

It's cool, the FO will just replace him down the road.

CK once said something in chat that I'll never forget: the FO knows it's about winning games. Win games, and the fanbase will come back. It'll attract bandwagon jumpers, it'll bring the old soaks out for one more shot at glory. All the sins of the past can be forgiven if you're winning games. Hell, look at the Pats fans - they get caught cheating and come up with every way to justify it. They're winners, no matter the crimes they commited.

If the Dolphins end up winners down the road, who will care about the unfair roster moves, the personality conflicts or the brushing aside of hall-of-famers. Who will remember save a few fans who remember how bad 4-12 and 1-15 felt. I mean, after all, doesn't that Lombardi look mighty shiny?
