Dallas GM forgot that the draft was this weekend. Jets GM had a brain lapses on time zones. You're overreacting to this ****, man. I understand the reasoning if I let it happen for the hell of it, but it's being blown out of proportion. If a team wants to continue to field offers for their pick past their time frame, I could care less if they don't mind the next team can jump them. They know the risk.
Thanks, didnt want to give up Austin but fact is their are only so many balls to go around I mean LeSean McCoy had 78 catches out of the backfield...plus Stevie Johnson, Amendola and Lewis... I created a hole at S trading Bell, i now have the best one in the game at the moment imo, was tough but in the end the trade of made sense.
More then half of cell phone users have smartphones. There's not much of an excuse even if you work. I post regularly from work and mod on my phone. Otherwise there is no real reason to have time slots if we aren't going to stick to them
You're being unreasonable... I know what I am doing. And I don't have a smart phone, I just have the luxury of being able to surf the internet at work.
Well some people, including me, cant use their cell phones at work...so, tomorrow when my pick is scheduled, I wont be able to make it because of work.
See what u mean but I have already drafted 4 guys in 34 picks and have 3 more remaining, not being able to cut FA's Im a lil more handicapped then it may seem.... Not to mention IF Jenkins is as AVG as some think I better have some damn good S behind him.
You'll be able to pick. You just submit your top choices in a bullpen, and we pick the highest guy available off your list.
Assuming Chicago doesn't take my target here, my pick will be posted in minutes after that so we can keep this flowing nicely and since I took forever today (sorry again; blame class).
Not a single comment about my selection of Aaron Williams... Guess thats what I get for drafting him right before a blockbuster deal lol.
Honestly I thought he was a good pick. He's just like every other Texas corner though. They all seem to be the same.
Thanks guys! I actually liked him better than Rahim Moore from UCLA. Yea he has to learn a new position, but moving from CB to FS isn't that big of a transition. The thing about him is he is a really good guy off the field too and does a lot for the community. He has a high ceiling and I think he will reach it with his work ethic. He is the type of player you watch on film and fall in love with... Bradford must hate him after that interception, plus he was the player that sacked him and dislocated his shoulder lol
It's more or less to regulate. It keeps thing organized. In years past it was 3 hours for each pick, when you're OTC, you're OTC. That was a *****... you guys have it easy.
We were drooling watching Liuget slide. Friggin' Bengals. Oh well. We're pretty happy with Rudolph here too and it does more to fill a need.
Thats really good value on Rudolph in my opinion too. The run on Tackles caused some good players to drop.
I lucked out. Was going to take Dareus at 4 but went A.J Green instead and got to pick up Liuget in the 2nd
I won't disagree with that. We really wanted to steal a player with this pick, but with the guys we liked gone we decided to fill a need and take a guy, as you said, about where he should go.
And that gentlemen, is how you get ahead in the draft. I'll now stake my claim to having one of the best backfields in the NFL.
Ingram was the player I considered at 21. Instead I traded down, picked up a very early 3rd rounder (80 overall), and picked up a guy whom I feel can be just as good between the tackles. Really happy with the way that turned out for me, though I was tempted to move back up if the price was right for Ingram.
Best draft so far IMO. Im a huge fan of Liuget and I actually think he's a mid first rounder and almost traded back in the first to pick him.
I’m biased against taking RBs high, so don’t take me too seriously. I think the best areas to go high are passers (QBs, duh) and players who affect passers (OL, DE/OLB, WR to a lesser extent). Going RB early is a luxury move, IMO. But still, it’s a good backfield. Very versatile. And I’m going to pull an Eagles and point out that it’s strange no one commented on drafting Ponder.
