Well, I think that is a break for us as a trip to the west coast is hard on the players so if you can avoid it so much the better, the one caveat is "when" we play KC.

The last game in KC was simply brutally cold.

The coldest Dolphins game EVER, and one of the coldest in the last 10 years in the NFL. IIRC the game started with a -4º temp and wind chill about -20º.

    Brutal, to say the least.

I'd rather keep this team on the road.

You know what they say about karma......what happened last year will get evened out this next year.....then again, I guess karma may not have seen our (hapless) coaching staff. Still Oakland at home should be a win.

Is that the one where Ted Ginn Jr took the opening snap for a 40+ yard reverse for 6?

    :shifty:

This screws the Dolphins, imo. Have you ever seen the fans in KC? That place is VERY hard for a road team to win.

One of the best atmospheres in the NFL.

They used to be best home dogs ever, not sure how much that has changed the last number of years , but a tough place for the Fins...

Oakland is decimated, so I don't see how it helps. But I don't think it hurts. In the end, it's about the team and talent. They lost to Buffalo, Detroit and Cleveland at home in 2010. It's probably better not having to travel to California twice though.

That ain't Karma. That's just the law of averages. Karma is some made up baloney to make people feel better when the world poops on them. Karma is no different than the Easter Bunny.

How long have they been doing it the "old" way? It seemed to work all these years, why change it now?
Sorry if the uber rich athletes can't handle it these days. Maybe they should take a pay cut if they aren't traveling as much....

If it ain't broke, don't break it.

My thoughts exactly. Id rather play in Oakland than KC. KC has one of the best home field advantages, and a better team.

Karma isnt baloney. Life is all about planting seeds. If you plant negative seeds, it will catch up with you and you will receive negativity in return. If you plant good seeds, bad things will still happen, but good things will be more abundant. For example, you see someone crossing the street. You can either flip them off to be a dick, or you can wave nicely. Chances are that your choice is one that you make quite often. If you choose to flip off every person you see crossing the street. Eventually one of them is going to beat your brains in. Thats karma.

This is supposed to be the year Miami comes to Seattle again, I've been waiting five years, if there is no football this year I am going to be severely depressed. Pharmaceutically depressed.

There will still be college ball, which I amm liking more every yr.

It really has nothing to do with athletes not wanting to travel. It's just an attempt to even out the travel for every team. If Miami has to take 2 trips to the West Coast to play AFC West teams, and the Jets and Patriots wind up only having to go as far as Denver and KC, then we might be at a slight competitive disadvantage.

No, Miami plays the NFC East this season. Seattle wouldn't be until 2012.
