Was he at home rooting for his old Team and protege or do you think he was a big Ben fan yesterday? I know everyone is sick to death of him, but this is one time I'd like to hear an interview................. I bet he's gonna say he was hunting or something and couldn't care, but you know he was sitting in front of the TV , just wondering which side he was on?After playing for the Vikes , I gotta say he probably has no love for the Pack anymore. Shame he took it out on the fans.
I did find it interesting that Rodgers said he had not spoken to Favre before the game. I know they weren't friends, but you'd think he would have called Rodgers at some point to say good luck. It would be classy of Favre to call Rodgers and congratulate him this week. Nothing public (please), something where when they ask Rodgers if he's spoken to Favre during the countless upcoming interviews he'll do, Rodgers could say, "yes, he called to congratulate me".
Favre gave the Detroit Lions information on the Packers for gameplanning in 2008. Favre joined the Vikings in 2009 just to be able to play the Packers. Favre in 2010 told the Bears, after the second game between them and the Vikings, to “beat the Packers.” Favre did not mentor or tutor Rodgers for the three years Rodgers was riding pine. It’s safe to say Favre was hoping for Sevenburgh, though for reasons that have less to do with Aaron Rodgers and more to do with Ted Thompson.
Ted Thompson wanted to get rid of favre. I'm sure favre was hoping GB would lose. favre's skilled were quickly diminishing and Thompson knew it. He did the right thing.
I heard that the packers will eventually contact Farve to fix the relationship between the two. hopefully i can find the link to post it.
I did read prior to the game that Farve went on record saying he thought the Packers would go on to win the SB.This was during the playoffs at some point.I hope he is a little envious that he was not the QB.
