This is what I want. I want him involved with this franchise in some form or another. How could you not want him involved in decision making? The only reason I can think of is you personally don't like him. EVERYWHERE he has been he has turned the franchise around. He might not win a SB with them as a coach, but he does nothing but turnaround awful franchises---Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys. It's what he does. This team is in the same hole. Why not get a proven commodity? All I hear (rumors) is how Parcells is itching to get involved again, but not as a coach---GM, President, etc. If I'm Huizenga I'm offering that guy whatever to turn the franchise around and giving him whatever authority that guy wants.

I want Parcells as our GM that way we have Cam as an offence guy in the draft and Parcells is a Deffence guy in the draft room so Cam can look at the Offence guys to draft while Parcells is looking for D Guys for us

Why, so he can bring Wanny back. :huh1:

  6. I would have to think the only way to entice Parcels enough to settle into any postion within the organazation would be by dangling some portion of ownership in front of him. If wayne gives him a small percentage of the team he will bite.

I been calling for him to be recruited as soon as Jerry Jones forced TO down his throat. The writing was on the wall then.

I think it would great to watch Parcels And BB going at it in the same division twice a year. That would further enflame an already torid rivaly between our teams.

I agree wiedmier needs to go but not really sure that is the postion Parcels would be best suited for. I think he would be more effective as either the GM or the postion that Marino turned down.

I really think Waynes continued loyality to weidmier is this teams biggest problem. Wayne is willing to spend the money needed to get what his personell asks for and his reputation of not interfering with operations leads me to believe that this teams woes stem from a poor #2 choice more then anything. If wayne wakes up to this reality maybe there will be hope for him to be a sucess in the NFL.

Big Tuna and Fish just doesn’t sound like a good fit to me. Too many tuna fish sandwich jokes in there. Man stop sounding so desperate. It has been a tragic set of occurrences this season, no body could have seen this coming. Just the way it goes. We will bounce back faster than you think. The Dolphins can turn this around fast. It’s just going to be the worst season ever, and then we get over it.

    Live from the Internet.
    Call me crazy.
    BUT.
If there is so much speculation about Parcells coming in town, and Cam being a bad HC.
Why not bump cam down to an OC where he belongs, and hire Tuna as the head coach?

I think Cam would resign rather then accept that slap in the face.

Why not sprinkle magic fairy dust over the endzone and chant, it has the same amount of chance of working?

Because you can't demote a head coach, against NFL rules.

No kidding. And look at the supportive evidence, or lack thereof. Huizenga reportedly liked and respected Saban, and urged him to stay. If that's true, then wouldn't it follow that Huizenga would jettison Mueller, if Saban had nothing but poor appraisal of him? Yet somehow Mueller was promoted.

    Does not compute.

Saban is always desperate to cover his butt and anything he says needs to be taken in that regard, first and foremost.

Mueller is fair game once Saban was gone but any personnel decisions prior to that have to be attributed to Saban and Saban alone, IMO.

parcells in the front office would give a lift in spirits to the organization and also would be attractive for free agents
