Interesting you say against your Buckeyes. This may be a ******ed question and all but how do Buckeye fans feel when their Dolphins select a Meechigan player? Especially this high?

RIVERS! My boy. Straight from my school, Lake Mary High wooooooooooooo lol. In five years, there will be another name in this draft. We have a defensive end whos only a junior and has a full scholarship from USF.

Umm, why on earth would they trade all that to get a YOUNG pass rusher just to go and trade him to us for Jason Taylor who has maybe 2 years max left?

I hear VG is lazy and takes plays off. I didn't see enough of him to decide for myself. What do you think we're getting with this guy? I get the feeling he's going to be boom or bust, nothing in between. If he booms though...best starting LB core in the league.

I think the Dolphins end up owning that match up.

I hope both players do well and we get to enjoy a healthy and fun rivalry to watch, and Jake whoops VG's butt every time we play the Jests. For that matter I ho e the Phins whoop the Jets every time we play them, but who doesn't?

I don't, but I do look forward to watching the match-up. Gholston owned it in college, registered 3 sacks against Long from what I understand.

Long has had problems with speed rushers, the staff must think they can fix it. Gholston has done well against Long. It will all be up to coaching now.

I do agree Gholston disappears for long spells in games, but the kid has a world of skill.

I'm really just concerned with his coverage abilities. I'm wondering if he'll be worked into the lineup slowly on 3rd and long packages.

For what it's worth I'd have preferred either Long to Gholston. Jake Long would have made our OL pretty tight. Sure he'll be a big help in solidifying yours though.

I think Gholston for you will be worked in slowly due to the fact you signed Pace for big bucks. But that could be a good thing.
