I would just like to get a feel for who thinks Henne under a new OC(Daboll) could turn it around a become our QB of the future, if given the chance. I'm not saying we put all our chips on Henne, we should certainly have a plan b, c, d, and e but to me as of now Henne is plan A. So how about it, yes or no?
He might win a few games, but I am betting it won't be because of his play. I think he is done as the starting QB. I think a VET will be brought in and start.
I agree a vet will be brought in... ...but don't be surprised if there is a competition for starter and Henne wins it. The vets out there aren't anything special.
I think not,There was many games were we could not put touch downs on the boards.I think it starts with the Qb and a clear example was the bears game if anyone watch the game.I like henn and think he would make a perfect 2nd string.
I doubt it and I have little faith that Sparano and company can make him better than he currently is.
i think a new OC will make a world of difference for Henne. question is: do we have the right OC? only time will tell. we turned our defense around after one off season with a new DC, but we also added a couple of key FA pick ups on that side of the ball. if we can do the same in FA for the offense (if there is a FA next year) we already have a new OC, who knows? i'm always optimistic and i hope Henne gets a chance next year. i would like to see Henne compete with whoever else we bring in and win the job and prove himself next year by winning games and not turning the ball over.
I know. My point was that he has the potential to improve to the point where he doesn't flat out lose games for us.
The Dolphins flat out lost those games. The day that any QB walks out onto a field alone is the day I credit only that Qb with winning or losing a game.
I believe he can definitely win, if we get a few more pieces in place to help him. We need a QB coach who will continue to help him grow, a running game that does not always rely on trickery (ala Wildcat), and one more receiver that can stretch the field. I know that it all sounds like a lot of pieces, but if we have FA, we should be able to get some and then draft the rest.
Hell NO. He is what we all saw every game this year and last. A new OC calling different plays will not help him stop staring down his receivers, feel any pressure in the pocket, make him a leader, make his teamates better, look off a safety. The defenses have already figured him out.
